Fantastic displays of old cars in pristine conditions. Staff Cars from Hitler and Himmler, Mouselini and more. Two versions of the Concorde that you can walk thru. Giant rug slides. A great couple of hours.
I was here about 25 years ago and had a great time. Then I had the opportunity to visit again about a week ago. Once again I had a great time.
Awesome military displays along with cars, motorcycles, aircraft. Most everyone will find something they...More
My husband knew that I always have questions about how the things worked. He said, I am like a small kid who is not running out of questions. So he brought me on this place. I have so many questions how this old techno works...More
Highly recommend for aviation and auto fans. There are items here that you can't find anywhere else in the world in a single location. The Concorde and Russian SST (TU-144) are good examples. They have the only TU-144 outside of Russia and display next to...More
This is the best museum of its kind that I have seen & possibly anywhere in the world.
The highlight was the Concord & I was amazed at how well the aircraft are displayed. Nearly all are accessible.

Hi Jane, some recommendations: You needn't reserve tickets for the museum. But if you're planning to use the accommodation option of the museum(s) you may need to reserve. You will be offered some packages too (with the museum tickets). We bought the biggest package with all options (2 museums, Speyer Dom, accommodation, cinemas, info package etc.) whick cost us, 2 adults + 1 child (3 yrs) total 172 EUR.
Keep in mind that you will need lots of 1 - 2 EUR change for some machines operating with coins - recommended.
There is also Fördertechnik Museum right behind the place, it is small but recommended especially with children. Ticket price is reasonable, about 7- 8 EUR each.
You shold try the delicious Turkish food in Sinsheim, Imbiss Tekman Döner in the main street of Sinsheim (HauptStrasse). Their 100% handmade PIDE is perfect.
As an option, just opposite the road you will find Rhein-Neckar Arena (Hoffenheim Stadium) where you can make a short visit.
And finally, make sure you have enough batteries/charge and memory for your camera.
