Must see !

A grand building most worth seeing in the flesh. Just as lovely in side as our side.

Situated on the out side of the town. The main Center is about a 5-10 min walk.

There is a car park and information Center our side.

Amazing architecture

Incredible building - there is a lot of work going on to restore parts of it. You can go inside and be amazed at the scale.

Worth a visit if in the area

Worth a visit! They also sell reasonably priced local wines from the rectory to help fund restoration work.

Impressive but one suspects its best days are behind it.
Nov 2017 • Couples
While not as large or as well decorated internally or externally as some of the Gothic monsters in larger French cities this is still an impressive monument for such a small town. It's always amazing to consider the impact that building these huge religious edifices must have had on the economic life of such towns and their inhabitants, no doubt, in a modern sense, negative. Looking forward one suspects that its best days are behind this particular house of god, the outside needs a good clean while inside there are nets in both side aisles to catch the falling plaster from the roof. But Toul is an interesting and pleasant little town to stop for a coffee if you're passing by, and a couple of minutes spent in this church are worth it for the architecture fans amongst us.

Looked outstanding from the outside.

Looked outstanding from the outside. Unfortunately we arrived in town after it had closed, but the outside was one of the most impressive cathedrals we have seen, so can't comment on the interior.

Amazing light show
Jul 2016 • Couples
We visited the cathedral during the day and were impressed with the leadlighted windows and also some of the old frescos dotted around the interior of the church. Walking through the cloisters was a peaceful experience. We learned that most nights during summer the cathedral is lit up with accompanying music, so we made the journey back to the cathedral to await the10:30 Illumination. And we weren't disappointed. The show was well choreographed and orchestrated and showed the cathedral in all its glory. Definitely worth seeing

This church had services while we were there and children receiving Confirmation. Lovely to see families together after services taking pictures. Great experience!

A must for Cathedral lovers

This cathedral is awe inspiring. Unexpectedly huge for a town the size of Toul. Wonderful stained glass windows for me were the highlight.
