Restaurant for me on the decline.
It was much better on the menu and the products offered, given the quality/price ratio…
Certainly, the view of the sea remains splendid, which remains the best for me…
This restaurant has become “a tourist machine”.
To pull ourselves together to survive in the future...

My wife and I had an awesome dinner at Cap'tains Bar with a gorgeous sunset and a beautiful ocean view. We started with a tapas platter and watched the surfers riding big waves. We drank a nice red wine from St. Emilion. My wife ate really fresh mussels a la Roquefort and I had a huge piece of tender duck breast in ginger sauce. At the end we shared a creme brulee because we were full. After we paid (really decent prices) the waiter offered us a nice homemade shooter for free.... truly a remarkable dinner.

i ve been working in vieux boucau for the season, i used to go there twice a week with my friend! it was full everynight, french, english, australian, spanish people, great live music everynight (reggae, drum n bass, rock, hip hop), really funny staff, friendly and good atmosphere...the drinks are not sooo expensive for this area, ohhh yes! i forgot to speak about the spot, just awesome, on the beach!!

we were left on a table for about 20 mins without anyone asking if we needed a drink, or food. when we were served, the food was of poor quality and not much of it.

This bar/restaurant is located besides the ocean. So you have a great vieuw over the ocean and the surf. I went out there twice and it was awsome! Had a great time, good people! The looks of the place are great. A real must to have a drink there. Or go out and meet some locals/other surfers.

At the top of the dunes, great for a snack or a drink, also delicious mussels and other seafood. Good service and an unbeatable view along the coast!
