Old part is full of historical fortune, ruins and the small streets and great artitechtrical buildings. Parking is easy and a great walk.

Our third visit to Sozopol and we're still discovering new things in this old town. Try and explore before 11am or after 3pm when the trip coaches and ferry visitors are not so abundant.

Very historical and we'll maintained, the old town is a must visit during your stay in Sozopol. Excellent food options and souvenir shops during the summer.

The most lovely town. I always come back here again and again. I like the slow and leisurely tempo with which people are doing everything.

Definitely end of summer by October 11. Most things closed/shut. Still a lovely town with an interesting history. Couldn’t find much English spoken nor a place for breakfast. Admittedly there was a north wind, the sea was rough and not inviting even for intrepid Scots!...More

We've been for the first time in Sozopol and we fall in love just from our first steps. It's an amazing town with a lot of history, old houses and roads, a lot of fishing boats.

We stayed at The Laguna Beach Hotel and Spa on the outskirts of Sozopol. This area is being developed, but not overly so. Sozopol itself, and the Old town in particular, has little construction work on going. Bulgaria is... More

Most people know restaurants. So find a restaurant in old town and ask the locals to point you in the right direction.
