Allright, this FastFerry.bg widely advertise hydrofoil fleet of ships - this primarily refers to Soviet-made "Raketa" and "Cometa" type of vessels. However I never realized that they do not operate these anymore before I actually bought ticket: instead it's a Sea Cat catamaran ship that sails almost twice slower. That would have been a definite dealbreaker for me if I knew it.
In general if you need a quick sail from Sozopol to Nesebar and/or back this is fine. Of course if you can het on the open desk and not stay inside because when inside you'll get nausea in no time. Yet if you want to sail real hydrofoils like Raketa or Cometa - then it's not what you are actually looking for.

We used this service last year and used it again this year to get to Nessebar and then took a taxi into Sunny Beach for the day. It was 50 levs per adult per round trip and took around 40 minutes each way. Very efficient service, on time and a great way to travel.

This is an expensive con, beware. My partner and I paid a total of £60 for two return tickets. The outward journey was fine but on the return a member of staff arrived and said bad weather prevented sailing. The sea was very calm and when I checked the local shipping forcast all was well. A mini bus arrived to return 39 people, which then quickly left , soon a coach arrived and took us back to Nessabar. A local tourist guide said that this was a regular occurance and was a way to increase profits. What a bunch of sharks!

We wanted to travel to Nessebar from Sozopol, bought a tickets and had been in port on time, BUT..
Lady from company told us at first, that ship is going to be late at its arrival for about 20 minutes, when 20 minutes passed away, she told us that it will take another 20 minutes. She also told us that this is problem caused by some passengers, and our departure will be late max. 40 minutes against regullar time(3pm) for sure. At 4pm she told us that crew had to prepare something and in 10 minutes it will be ready. A 4:20pm this same lady told us that the cruise is cancelled, and our next option is to wait until 6:30pm!!
They gave us no explanation why, and even didn´t offer any kind of compensation, not mentioning that we never heard any apology. We lost a half day of our holiday, just because of their unprofessional behaviour. Lady must have known that ship had technical problems, it was obvious that it broke down, but they never told us the truth, and instead of being honest just lied to us.

I strongly do not recommend their services to anybody. I doubt that if there will be any problem they will act seriously, the will most propably serve you some kind of "their suprise".

A really great way to get from Sozopol to Varna OR Nessebar. Hyrofoil.
Clean and excellent viewing from the stern (rear) deck, also superb seating areas with lots of windows, a drinks machine. A reasonable cost for a return ticket, Timed mainly. On time and very fast. It is close enough to shore to get some good camera shots of beaches and the harbour in Bourgas. A brilliant transport to see the rest of the Black Sea Coast.

We took the hydrofoil from Sozopol to Nessebar, with a view to going to Sunny Beach for the day. By bus, this trip takes a good 1 hour 30 minutes or even 2 hours, the hydrofoil takes around 35 minutes, but they do like you to be ready to board up to 15 minutes before the departure time.

We booked our tickets a couple of days in advance in the little booth by the harbour. It was 60 levs for an adult for the return trip.

It was a good service, but it didn't seem to go as fast as I was expecting. Having said that, the seats were comfortable, it was on time and much quicker and cooler than a bus.

Would definitely recommend it and use it again.

Great value and fun way to get to Nessebar, the children would have liked to be able to travel outside of the cabin but for safety I was more than happy that this was not an option.
Only 40 minute journey time and staff great throughout.

First passengers of year on the hydrofoil. Left on time both ways and was a good adventure. 50 lev for adults and 25 for kids. Well worth the money. Much preferred Soz to Ness. Less touristy. Great day out.

We took Bulgaria Fast Ferry from Sozopol to Nesebar across the Black sea.
We were satisfied with the timing and the cost. The service was very professional, and totally hassle free.
The cost is fair, and very convenient transport option.
