We paid $4 to park the car, then another $6 each to go to the beach. You could not smoke, take dogs, drink alcohol. No sand, just dirt and we had to find logs to sit on. Not what we were expecting.

Natural, clean and quiet beach, well preserved. Very few people and the whale tail is worth walking to.

Walking Uvita beach is a tranquil experience. It is very clean and quiet. The whales tail is an added extra at low tide!

The jungle view is nice but the beach is not one of my favorite. Honestly, beaches of Costa Rica are not the best: lot of rocks, the sand is not amazing and the water is quite dark.
