Cool place to chill

Nice place to chill but it is a little small so It might get crowded on high season. Easy to get there and very close to the beach and principal road.

Easy to get to, friendly bar with smoothies at the entrance. Has some steps but really no hiking involved. Can slide on the waterfall into the water which is unique. It's good to get away from the heat of the day by the ocean and de somewhere cool.

This waterfall was a blast for us and our kids 8-14. The natural slide is very fun, but scary! The locals helped us and the kids didn't want to leave

We went to the Uvita waterfall bec it was so close to where we were staying. You have to pay at the restaurant $2 per person to see the waterfall. During our trip, this was a constant theme. If you want to see something that Mother Nature created, you have to pay the property owners a fee in order to... More

We heard about this from a family we met nearby at the cave beach... One of the 2 amazing waterfalls we visited in the area. Free parking and a small admission price of 1000 colones or $2 or so per person. A bit of a steep hike down to it so watch if wearing flip flops. Some people slid down... More

The water falls are beautiful. Even in the 'dry season' one can jump off a small cliff into deep water. Don't forget to stop by the little restaurant when you work up an appetite. The smoothies are insanely good, and so are the fish tacos.

Drive to the parking destination. Use the bathrooms, then walk down a small flight of stairs and enjoy the tranquility of these cascades. We hung around for a short time, got some nice photos, and then moved on. It's not far off the beaten path so to speak. I would however suggest this. If your desire is to check out... More

A bit of a short steep climb down so it is better suited for the younger set. Thrill seekers jump off of the top of the waterfall in the inviting pool below. The restaurant serves up good smoothies.
