Panchaganga temple which is origin of 7 rivers-Krishna,Koyana,Gayatri,Savitri,Venna, Saraswati and Bhagirathi waters channelised to pass and flow at particular place which considered a temple and all water inlets can be visible with clear display and comes out from a cow mouth type channel.Out of them, springs of first 5 are continuously flowing where as the spring corresponds to Saraswati comes... Temple is built in old time during the time of Mahabharata, It is believed that Five Rivers starts from here, You can easily see the starting point of river.

This temple is known as Panch Ganga because of the origination of 5 rivers from here. While 3 of them are continously flowing, 1 originates every 12 years and another one after some 30 years. Three date the river will return is predicted already. Couldn't believe though that this place has springs which turn into rivers...hardly at any distance. It... More

pancha Ganga temple is a Holy Place to visit with any age group people and darshan was easy and hassle free. area is well connceted to pulic as well as private transporatation and perfect was budget class shopping.

This is strictly a religious place and don't come here expecting a tourist's delight place with lots of selfie points ... Very interesting stories around this place especially those related to the Church bells inside the Hindu temple... See if you can spot them .. We spotted them just by chance and then had to google to understand the fantastic... More

An ancient temple and a tourist attraction in Mahabaleshwar is a must visit if you like temples. We visited the temple in rainy season and found it quite charming.

The temple is near to Mahaba leshwar temple. Here it is belived to be sangam of 5 rivers. Temple is quite old and structure is such that it is quite dark inside. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. There is nothing much to seen inside, not a great structure or carving. However if you are interested in old temple... More

Do visit this place even if you are not religious as there you will find origin of 5 river. even you can drink water from origin. Water is so pure & testy....
