Trek to Babington
Nov 2018 • Couples
Babington Point is a well known standpoint of Mahabaleshwar. The point offers magnificent opinions of the Solshi, Koyna Valley and the Chinaman Waterfalls. The path encompassing the standpoint is replete with heavy vegetation, but gives some good views.

The green boulevard!!
Nov 2018 • Couples
Babington Point is a popular view-point in Mahabaleshwar. Located at a height of 1294 meters above mean sea level, this spot provides an un-obstructed view of the Chinaman Waterfalls and the Koyna Valley. The path that leads up to Babington Point is replete with a green boulevard and provides for a fantastic view of the land beneath.

Jungle Point.
Sep 2018 • Couples
Babington Point used to be a beautiful view point, and I remember walking up to it and enjoying the beautiful view of Koyna Valley from here many years back, but not anymore. The view was obstructed by overgrown trees and bushes and we could see nothing of the valley below. Even the beautiful garden in the centre was overgrown and unkempt, and looked more like a jungle.

This place gets very few visitors. Located only about 2.5 km from the Mahabaleshwar market, it is at best a walking destination to visit on an early morning or evening walk. The green cover is very good and the area has got an aura of peace and serenity about it.

Calm Surroundings and a good walk
Mar 2018 • Couples
The point itself is not frequented by many visitors. Its a great morning walk destination. The view is dismal for the valley as there is thick overgrowth which is also a plus. The greenery is fantastic. The walk good. Wish we Indians would keep our surroundings clean. Could see discarded plastics and beer bottles lying around. Sad.

We went here along with family and friends with our own food and bedsheets and had a nice picnic over there. It was a great fun for children

Good point for picnic
Apr 2017 • Family
Another view point in Panchangani. Nothing great and different from other view points. However if you are travelling in a large group then you can visit this place for a picnic.

More than the views, the main attraction here seems to be the monkeys which abound. Nothing great in terms of views - but is less crowded.

Less frequented viewpoint
Aug 2016 • Family
This is one of the lesser known view points in the Mahabaleshwar hills.

Plus - Less frequented by tourists, so comparatively lesser crowds. Decent views

Negative - Upkeep and maintenance leaves a lot to be desired.

Not as good as sons of the other famous view points in Mahabaleshwar.

Decent views available but the multiple bushes are a spoiler. Can visit once if have seen all other points
