The temple is of Lord Shiva. It is quite an ancient architecture which makes it more exciting and adventurous. The inside structure is still the same of old material used in ancient times. The tourists are not allowed to touch the Shivling, though we can see and do the aarti/pooja.

This beautiful temple is located in old Mahabaleshwar around seven km from Mahabaleshwar. The 4500 year old Panchaganga temple is built at the origin of seven not five rivers, namely Krishna, Koyana, Gayatri, Savitri, Veena, Saraswati and Bhagirathi. Five of the rivers flow continuously whereas the spring corresponding to Saraswati comes alive supposedly after every 60 years and the one... More

The temples in Mahabaleshwar is great piece of architecture and quite old. Their upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness need to be improved.

This is perhaps the oldest temple in mahableshwar. As per the priest of the temple this is more than 5000 years old. feels great inside the temple.A must go if you are in mahableshwar.

Visited as a family... THis is popularly known as Panchaganga temple which is origin of 7 rivers-Krishna,Koyana,Gayatri,Savitri,Venna, Saraswati and Bhagirathi and the origin spots can be viewed in the temple... Located in Old Mahabaleshwar, this temple is arounf 400 years old...

Dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the important and old pilgrimage.Built in the 16th century. The temple is in the Old Mahabaleshwar which is about 7 km from the main city area.
