The view was mediocre the day we visited with haze and trees obscuring sites in the distance. Large crowds and lots of tourist vendors means that there isnt a peaceful place to enjoy.

Being from Mumbai, we had to check this place out.Do note this attraction is on the other side of Mahabaleshwar and you need to be familiar with the roads to reach here.Unfortunately, we lost our way and reached here later in evening, as we were further delayed for a tea-break, thus missing the sunset. This point was fairly ok as... More

We reached there around 5 pm and its was about an hour to go for sunset. Meanwhile we enjoyed the area, clicking pictures around. There are plenty of stone seats in a well planned manner that person seat on those seat can view sunset from their angle. Lots of greenery around. From there, you can also see at far the... More

This is a decent place to watch the sun go down though there are other convenient points providing a good view as well. Located on the other side of Mahabaleshwar, one needs to have transport to reach/ return from the point to your hotel. Can be bit tricky walking back after sunset.

The place gets only good eating because there are lots of shrubs hiding the view.. So to get the best view of the sun one needs to stand up. I have seen better places with nicer view in Mahabaleshwar eg. Elphinston point.

I have seen much better sunset points around pune and this is not even in top 20 list. It is a bit over hyped i guess. It is better to utilise this time in a hike or some other activity.

As like other places, its good for clicking pics. If you are lucky and its not a foggy or rainy day you will be able to see sunset from here.
