Nice place.. all the place give different views but of the same place. One should hire a car and cover 7 to 8 points in a day.

Wilson point correctly known as sunrise point is located about 7 kms from the market. Mornings are really chilly, pls carry a jacket. :)

We were expecting a peak with a good view but it turned out to be disappointing. Wilson point is a small elevated stone seating arrangement with a not so great view of the valley. There are better places in Mahabaleshwar to spend time. Wound not recommend this.

This is one of the best points in Mahabaleshwar. You can actually feel the sun rising and hitting you gently. Just try to reach early and get the best spots. It can get crowded on weekends.

This point is at top most height. When you're on this point you will see a beautiful skyline & Sunrise.

Wilson point is the highest point in Mahabaleshwar and most famous for sun rise/ sun set viewing, It was originally named Sindola Hill, but we were told that the name Wilson Point caught on as Sir Leslie Wilson, Governor of Bombay used to come to this point and he really liked visiting it! The walk to the point is beautiful... More

Wilson point is the highest point in Mahabaleshwar. It's the prefered place to visit for viewing the Sun rise in the mornings as well as sun set. One gets a good view of the town in all directions. The approach to the place is a narrow road and hence best discovered walking

We decided to visit the place on a weekday in spite of some haze. There are two approaches and I would suggest taking Google maps. The entry road is a strict one lane road and is in the worst condition possible. In case any car from other end enters it's practically impossible to manoeuvre the car. The exit road is... More
