Lovely wines on offer at De Bortoli and our Italian host was very engaging. Unlike most wineries you get a real tasting experience here, roughly 7 wines with some cheese and crackers thrown in, particularly for trying one of the Reds. Well priced we did, of course, have a case of wine sent home.

Welcoming atmosphere, knowledgable friendly and attentive staff ensured our visit to be a memorable enjoyable event. Loved the wines and the cheese platters were amazing. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The de Bortoli family have done wonders with this winery. You can taste the wines without obligation. Prices vary, but most visitors will find something they like at an appropriate price. The shiraz grape is one of the Yarra Valley's specialities, you will find some good examples here. The staff at e Bortoli's are courteous and always ready to answer... More

We had a wonderful Italian lady( Eva I think) who took us though a leisurely and informative wine tasting. We joined the club and organized for a couple of dozen wines to be sent back to Perth. Thank you for be so friendly and knowledgeable.

Oh my, I should have brought more of it during my trip in october last year. I totally love the 2005 Melba reserve and if I remembered correctly, its only $38, which was a steal. Its smooth, soft and easy to drink. I could have a whole bottle myself (could have if its wasn't friends sharing the bottle). Their winery... More

One of the best winery's in Yarra region in Melbourne. Try the selection on offer. Relax. You can purchase a platter of cheese with four kinds. It changes daily. My kind of snack.

We had a groupon so had dinner at the winery, which was very good. Since it had a voucher, we went to the cellar door expecting nothing. As Europeans (American-French and Italian) our tastes our different and we prefer smaller vineyards to the de Bortoli Brown Brothers types. However, they have some great wines in addition to those we wouldn't... More

We visited the cellar door and very much enjoyed our experience! We got well looked after by Lisa, and got to try (and of course bought) way more than intended. Ports 10yr and 21yr tawny, the premium wines PHI (ask to see them, gorgeous wine! We couldn't try them at cellar door, but bought in the restaurant) I also bought... More

Excellent tasting experience. Many top-notch wines available in an attractive tasting room with generous, attentive staff. Everthing is good. Fortified selections are amazing. Cheese plates available to purchase and have with your tasting, if desired. (Excellent restaurant upstairs, too.) Gourmet food and gifts available for purchase. Bottles at all price points well represented. I brought home a stunning A8 Syrah... More
