Wonderful little waterfall a few minutes from the centre of town - a must for every visitor to Lençóis.

We trekked out to this lil’ cutie falls slash grotto swim area on our first day in Lencois. It was SWELTERING hot out and the refreshing water was exactly what I needed. We got there early, around 10 am, and had the place to ourselves for just under an hour (and I am pretty sure that the folks that stumbled upon us were lost, because they followed us out when we left.)
A hidden gem and I highly recommend making the walk out to it if you’re able. The main trail is fairly wide and paved but there are some narrow spots where it’s single file only, as well as some hefty roots. Probably not doable if you have any issue treading on uneven ground.
Be sure to bring CASH to buy a cold drink or a snack from one of the vendors that are often out there on the way into the falls. It’s a great way to directly contribute to the local economy and TREAT YO’SELF on a hot day!

We got there early, by 10AM, and had the place to ourselves for at least an hour. I LOVED it! The water was wonderfully refreshing.

I've been to this Cachoeirinha waterfall several times, in Murituba Park...
This time, I thought it was a shame to have to pay the entrance to the park and be forced to pay a guide to walk 200 meters!!!!!!!
How is it possible to privatize nature? a public place?

I love the smaller waterfalls that have a nice pool that you can swim in. Very Relaxing place and depending on where you are staying in Lençóis, its not a far walk.

Actually a better spot than what is often considered the final destination of Primaveira Waterfalls. Beautiful spot, clear waters, great for a little dip. A short walk from Lençois.

... after a long hike through the woods. It easily to walk from Lencois. We did a big round trip and this was our last stop. Perfect for refreshing after the walk.

Like with the natural pools in the Muritiba park where they are both located, these falls are small, nice, and have a small, shallow lake you can bathe at the end of the day. Enjoy.
(I only gave it an "average" as there are many fantastic, better falls in the Chapada, but it is worth a trek as the park it is in is in the city, Lencois)

This waterfall can be found pretty easily just following the trek up from Serrano, however, to reach other wonders I would recommend a guide. In the pool next to the waterfall, there are many small fish, but watch out, some might think you are nice food, so keep moving in the water.

We came here the day before we left the beautiful Chapada, when we arrived it was packed with students but we still managed to take some beautiful photos as the guides take in turns to stay at this waterfall so everybody has a chance to take a good photo. The waterfall was full of fresh water, the rocks surrounding it are amazing ! It is close to Lencois so we came on foot. if you know the area there is no need for a tour !
