The landscape and views in Chapada Diamantina National Park truly take your breath away. It is glorious. We booked a 5 day trekking trip with a company called Nas Alturas. I would not recommend them. They were very knowledgeable about the area but the guide continually rushed ahead. I was older and slower and I could not keep up with... More

this is a must see in Brasil, Make sure you have the right boots and the right mindset and just go. We booked a guide through Diamantina Mountains and we had the times of our lives. Three days no wifi no light pollution. Just waterfalls, awesome sights, beautiful nature and a a great view of the stars

In a matter of 3 days and nights we managed to trek through a cave, snorkel in a grotto, swim in a waterfall, and take a guided tour through the wetlands. I would have stayed longer if not for the fact that we had to plan your trip around the flight schedule. Lencois is a great little town to stay... More

This was by far the best thing we did in Lencois. We took a package day trip with a company that took us to 4 different places, a little frustrating at times as some of the places were a little bit un-interesting pools of water that you had to actually pay additional money to use! This was the last stop... More

lots of trekking trails, for any level. day trails or several days trails. dozens of waterfalls, you can swim in all of them. Caves, rivers, mountain bike, etc etc. The best place to re charge the batteries. easy access by plane in the heart of the park. Nice town to sleep and enjoy cozy street restaurants - Lencois

This Parque is a bit off the beaten track, but it is beautiful. Hiking through the park is absolutely fabulous. There are several tours to the park from Lençóis. If you have a car you can do it on your own. Roads are not good and inside the park not paved but mostly doable. Every day trip can be done... More

Beautiful National Park, tens of waterfalls and natural pools, natural wonders like the clear orange-red water on most pools. Nice little restaurants with great food, drinks and atmosphere. fair prices.
