About Burrowing Owl Estate Winery
It’s All About The Wine Balance is a time-honored goal in the making of premium wines and working toward balance is a way of life at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery. Founder Jim Wyse is committed to balance, well beyond that of the fine, world-class wines being produced. A kind of Hippocratic oath (“to do no harm”) underlies the creative viticultural and enological practices at Burrowing Owl.

We stopped in for a tasting on the way to Osoyoos. It was just off the main highway so it's not that out of the way. The tasting fees go to support the burrowing owl conservation which is a nice thing for them to do....More

Eco-conscious winery. Lovely setting. Excellent tour. Sadly no Malbec this time around and sold out of Caruja as well :(

Excellent wines can be found at this winery tucked away in the hills above Osoyoos lake. Our host, Victoria, knows her stuff and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

This is well established winery, that has a wide range of white, and red wines. They also support the Burrowing Owl Conservation group, and have done so for a number of years.

The wine tasting staff were just great and the restaurant waiter and chef bent over backwards to satisfy a vegan food request. Love their support for the owls and their major work on decreasing the carbon foot print. Great corporate citizens!

Tasting fees here go to help bring back the Burrowing Owl. Brought to near extinction, the owls are making a comeback due in part to the generosity of Burrowing Owl WInery. The wine here is excellent and the service helpful and friendly. Great location and...More

The fall season means the closing of some of the restaurants. I recall being here for dinner, as well as for lunch.
