The setting and view is amazing. Plus they have some wonderful wines. The staff are well trained and friendly. The Pinot Gris is very smooth and refreshing but hard to get because it sells out so fast. The Merlot is a great BC Okanagan Valley classic and a good example of what the Oliver area can produce but needs to be aged to fully appreciate.

This was our first visit to Burrowing Owl Estate Winery, but it won’t be our last. We did not have time for a meal, but thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting. The tasting fees are donated to a burrowing owl conservation organization, which we appreciate. And my fave BC Chardonnay is from this winery: mellow, oaky, buttery and delicious. We also enjoyed the port-fortified wine (La Coruja) and the Syrah — so much that we sent a case of wine home for later enjoyment. If possible, give yourself a little time to soak up the Sonoran desert vibes here in Oliver, so different from further north in the Okanagan. Highly recommended

Traditional stand at the tasting bar - our appointment was last of the day and hostess was really ready to go home. Didn't give us much background on the wines nor show much interest in the tasting. That said the wines were very good

We enjoyed our visit and were well cared for by Pam who served us a nice selection of wines. Love the fact that the tasting fees go towards conservancy of burrowing owls. Beautiful setting.

Book a room on the patio at sunset - simply hard to believe you’re in Canada and not in Tuscany. The views are stunning, service professional and prompt and the menu varied enough for all. The only negative is that we weren’t blown away by the food. Our steak was much rarer than we’d asked for and the sides ok. I was hoping for a little more pizazz given the price.
