So we have been here for tastings before but now they are getting too big for their britches. 15 bucks per tasting which is only refunded if you buy TWO bottles of wine. On top of that, you only get to try 4 wines but they choose two whites and two reds.

So, we didn't get try the wines we wanted to try, it was unreasonably expensive and you have to buy 2 bottles to get your money back.

I would much rather spend my money on a reasonable establishment
If we let these wineries start charging insane prices, then soon we will be paying 80 bucks for a tasting like in Napa.

The restaurant here is excellent though. Our party of 4 LOVED everything we had.

My partner and I booked a tasting at Tinhorn Creek Winery and were greeted by Wine Ambassador Pam who showed us to our table on the patio overlooking the vineyards on a lovely sunny afternoon. We were treated to a noteworthy tasting experience which resulted in us joining the wine club and buying several bottles to take back to Vancouver. Pam and her colleague Aidaan really made this a memorable experience and we were able to savour the wines in a relaxed attentive environment without the feeling of being rushed. Thanks to them we will be back soon.

My wife and I went for a wine tasting. We were only allowed 4 wines of Tinhorn's choice. Even though we purchased $150 of wine we were still charged $8 each for a mediocre tasting. We used to be wine club members, but gave that up when they would not give us any choice of which wines they shipped. Since the winery was bought out the customer care and service has gone way down. This is not how to treat people. We will not be back.

Absolutely fabulous it was our first time going there and I was actually amazed at the beauty of the location. All protocol for Covid was adhered to. They all wore full face shields , we signed in hand sanitizer in place and seating was well more then 6 ft. The customer service was absolutely fabulous as well . I’d like to thank Pam who wished me a happy birthday and made us feel very welcome to the winery. Loved the wine presentation Thankyou For making me feel special on my birthday. It was my favourite winery that we visited during the day

The Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn is not to be missed if you are into fine foods and great service. Our waiter Jordan was great as my wife has allergies to certain foods he went out of his way to make sure that she was well looked after. Beside the outstanding meal and wine that we consumed view from the top of the of the hill is breathtaking. Establishment is worth taking in for anybody visiting the Okanagan.

We booked a sit down wine tasting at Tinhorn for three of us. We arrived at our seated time and we had to wait over fifteen minutes for service. When someone did arrive at our table, she placed the wine flight of four glasses on our table and explained that she would be right back to go over the wines. She came back and told us about the white wines and said someone would be over to go over the red wines...we waited another fifteen minutes. I have to say, these were the worst four wines I have ever tasted. I've had Tinhorn wines in the past and they were great, but not this tasting. The server realized that we did not like our wines and brought us out a glass of pinot gris. We noticed that other tables did not drink the reds as well.

We were there in September and the evening was a bit chilly so we decoded to eat inside. Almost right away a large group of 12 people sat at a table next to us. They were very loud so we could not hear each other. We finally asked to move outside and persuaded the staff that we were going to move. It was much better outside. The food was quite average but we enjoyed it.

What was once a gem, this winery has become too "corporate " since purchased from the family a few years ago. $15.00 for tastings is ridiculous. Two whites, two reds and no subs so if you don't drink reds, you're out of luck. In order to waive the tasting fee, you have to purchase two bottles of wine p.p. We left feeling letdown and wouldn't recommend. Their wines just weren't that good and there a way better. With so many wineries in the valley don't bother with this one. It's disappointing.

My husband and I were greeted by BettyAnne then we had an amazing wine tasting with Janice, who was knowledgeable and insightful...Eade assisted us with our Club Membership and we will enjoy every bottle. Thank you for restoring our faith in The Golden Mile’s Customer Care after a very disappointing experience at Burrowing Owl. Our entire visit including the restaurant was superb — this winery is a must-do and their wines are excellent quality at reasonable prices!

Recently my sweetheart and I had the privilege of spending an hour with Pam while enjoying the private lounge wine tasting experience.
Pam was phenomenal, she spent the time educating us on the wines, the area and believe it or not how different stemware (wine glasses for those of us who don't need to use fancy words) can affect how a wine tastes - who knew?? :-)
We don't normally write reviews but Pam went above and beyond keeping things casual and fun. Seems wine tasting can be fun and not always serious. THANK YOU Pam for taking such good care of us. See you again soon!!
