We found their wine at a summer market and absolutely love it. We were excited to visit them when in Oliver and were so impressed by their tasting room and the whole experience. There are so many wineries in the area, we feel this one is a must.

Montakarn produces some of the best blends we have ever tasted. Tippy Toe (I know, it's a strange name, but there's a great story behind it, and they'll gladly share it with you) is perfect on a hot summer day as is the Georgina Rose. Bella Nola (ask about this name too... especially if Nola is working the tasting room when you're there) is great all year long. This year we tried GladE for the first time, and we've been assured that it is superb with barbecued salmon. This is our favourite tasting room as well; we've never been served by summer students who don't really know the product. We had great chats with the owner's sister Nola and the owner himself. The view from the patio is amazing. Really the best.
