We had a very nice lunch here today, a jacket potato for me and a tuna steak with sun dried tomatoes, olives and artichoke for him, all with salad etc. Well cooked and served by very efficient staff. Service was very quick, everything very covid controlled. The young men clearing and sanitising the tables were excellent.

Whilst staying in Broadstairs we walked past here several times. For whatever reason it didn’t initially appeal. However, as it was such a sunny afternoon & just wanting drinks we opted for here as the outside terrace area allows dogs and was a complete sun strap.
Secured a lovely table overlooking Broadstairs Viking Bay & with the sun shining couldn’t imagine anywhere nicer to sit & relax for a couple of hours in the sunshine.
We just had drinks so can’t comment on food, but what was being served close by looked good & decent sized portions.
The lower garden level has direct access to beach & I’m sure on busy summer days it is packed.
Recommend for it’s perfect location.

We only popped in for a soft drink. (Cola) it maybe be local prices but 2 were £7.40 , i expected two bottles that I saw in the fridge. But was told it's table service.
When they arrived there was so much ice i the glasses! I felt scammed. I didn't want to say at time as sounds petty! But atleast on here people will be warned!

Keep it under your hat but if you are looking for s couple of hot drinks and oven fresh danish pastries plus best views in Broadstairs all for not that much more than £6:00ish then this is the place. And their dog friendly too.
Love it. Just a shame I've got to wait until 9.30 when they open!
Staff very obliging too and if take out their loyalty card thats an extra 10%saved.

Slow service. £14 for fish and chips is way over priced. Slow to clear plates and clean tables which are finished with . Only 2 staff behind the bar even though its always busy.
Queued up on the last 4 occasions for more than 5 minutes and then the service was very slow. Very disappointing and a shame as its a beautiful venue overlooking the beach.

This is a nice venue, almost on the beach, and has a good range of beers, at least in Folk Week. The machine coffee is better than Chiappini's (not difficult) but nowhere near as good as the Albion Hotel. The only thing that spoils it is the way the young staff hunt rapaciously for empty glasses/cups to the extent of leaning over you to see if your cup is empty and asking you if you have finished. This makes you feel like some sort of scrounger or cheat when you've only just finished a drink. I blame management policy/training. It shows no respect to the customer and makes you feel very uncomfortable. I will continue to use the place when convenient but I hate this aspect.

We were going to eat here, but after paying over the top for 2 drinks, decided not to. Watch out for the cost of the drinks! The Albion next door is a much better place to go!

Small glass of house red wine was like vinegar and cost the same as a very decent bottle of wine from Asda! Such a shame that a lovely venue is spoiled by squeezing the bottom line through selling poor quality drinks.

Fine for drinks with a dog mid-coastal walk. Feels a bit like a Spoons vibe - working man’s club system at the bar ! Nicer options along the coast
