NO SOCIAL DISTANCING
Sep 2020 • Couples
We visited for lunch during the coronavirus pandemic and were shocked to find social distancing and the “rule of six” being totally ignored. There was a group of 20+ at the front of the pub (dishonestly claiming to be the “Cramptons FC Supporters Bubble”) and a table of eight rowdy young drinkers opposite our table. Altogether an unsettling and scary experience.

waiting time
Jun 2018 • Friends
Do not mention to the landlady when you have been waiting 10 minutes to get served
the answer is don't be rude or you will be barred. God forbid if you complained how long food would take to come out. Was a decent pub with decent food but has gone downhill.

Watching football
May 2016 • Couples
The pub is set up for under 30's. We're in our 50's. However don't let that put you off. It's a decent enough pub with wood everywhere. Easier to mop and wipe after the younguns have gone I suppose. It's nothing special and you wouldn't miss anything if you just walked on by.

Why, how?
Mar 2013 • Friends
If you're sub 25 and are one of those people who just MUST look like all your friends (spiky hair, sparkly earring, chino shorts and stripy jumpers for the boys and Cheryl Cole wannabe for the girls) then this is the place for you! Actually see lines of people waiting to go in here - why?

Normal people, look at the many other drinking holes in Broadstairs!

Only upside - they do 2 for 1 happy hours on ALL drinks on weekend evenings.
