Football

Great local place to come and watch the football. A lot of people here had small children so it's definitely child friendly. Good atmostphere here too, nice and warm. And you can vape, as long as it's not huge clouds, that's still pretty cool though.

Absolutely first class evening with family and friends. Great effort from Glenn, Jo and the team behind the bar, not forgetting the band, Ozzie and the Uglies. Great night! 👍😀🎶🍺

A quick drink waiting for the train.
Jul 2018 • Couples
We visited The Bradstow Mill in Broadstairs for a drink early evening after a warm Saturday afternoon in July. We had travelled to Broadstairs specifically to see a performance at the Bandstand and was returning back to the station and looking for a place to get a drink whilst waiting for the train.
We chose to travel to Broadstairs by train wishing to avoid any potential traffic problems and parking difficulties and the mainline railway station is a very short walk from the public house.
The outside of the pub has quite an imposing façade but once inside there is a more intimate atmosphere with the central bar area breaking the floor plan up into a series of smaller zones. The brick and wooden interior gives a welcoming appearance, this pub certainly has character.
At the time of our visit (early evening), there was about a dozen patrons in the bar and with a traditional pool table in use at one end.
The bar had a good choice of beers on tap, I had a pint of Sharps Atlantic and it was an enjoyable pint with a good flavour, the barmaid that served us was polite and we took our drinks and sat down in one corner.
Having only about twenty five minutes until our train, we did not stay here for a long period, however I think that I would certainly consider a return visit if in the area in the future.

Had a fantastic time here. The landlords really made our visit one to remember and their kindness exceeded expectations.
It's a lovely traditional pub with a very welcoming atmosphere in a really characterful building. What more could you want?

The Bradstow Mill
Aug 2017 • Family
We visit this pub which has a reasonable sized beer garden (more concrete than garden) with lots of tables and chairs. The garden is ideal for families with youngsters away from the crowded beach area, the adults can keep an eye on them. The drinks are fine and the prices very similar to other pubs in the area. Inside has a cosy atmosphere with pool, sports tv, free WIFI, etc. As the evening wears on it tends to become more of a young persons pub with music.

My local pub, all the staff are friendly and do anything to help you out! Even on a busy night out they'll get to you ASAP and don't tolerate any stupid behaviour witch makes a nice atmosphere. I'd recommend this pub to anyone!

Superbly situated opposite the railway station and bus stops right outside.
Very friendly bar staff and locals, very welcoming.
Landlord runs a very good karaoke every Friday evening with a live band every Saturday.
Sports fans are well catered for with Sky Sports and BT Sports shown on three screens.
Also a nice outdoor seating area.
What's not to like? 😊

If you're gay, don't go to this establishment! I'm an obvious gay female, and visiting this public house I was ignored by the bar staff on not just one time but at least 6 times!
The pub wasn't busy, just myself waiting, the bar staff looked at me, and carried on with their conversation!

Nice little bar here. Staff and regulars very friendly. The bar is done out in an octagon so the staff can always see who is new to the bar and serve them quickly with a smile. Very good range of draught and bottle beers and ciders. Well worth a visit if you are here.
