There's nowhere else in the world I would rather live. Plenty of lovely places to visit, but you just have to keep coming back. Whilst most visitors come in the summer, it's actually lovely in the winter too and the water sports actually get better (provided you get a wet suit!)

Lovely beach in the heart of broadstairs. Very clean you can walk your dog on in winter months. Short stroll to the restaurant's and bars for some worm food.

I love this beach , with its lovely sand ,punch & Judy , colourful beach huts ,fishing boats, the pier where you can sit and soak up the sun ,or have an ice cream or a meal, this bay is also ideal for artists which is the reason I first visited ,wonderful.

It's the beach you want to go to. It's lovely but only if you leave before the evening. It gets a lot of teens down there and they are not so great. Got everything you want when going out. Shops, cafe and hire. What more you want.

Having visited Broadstairs every few weeks since I was first born (over 30 years ago) I can honestly say it is home to my favourite beaches. That may be because it holds such fond memories of my family and childhood, but it also a proper sandy beach at Viking Bay, with all the local amenities you need at a British... More

Viking Bay is another beautiful spot in Broadstairs, nice sandy beach, clean, great for a walk, just watching the waves roll in, lots of places to eat and drink around, again it was a bit empty on our visit but would be packed on a warmer day.

Deep yellow sandy beach. Imagine this would be lovely in the summer. Came in November so cold. Got a fair bit to do. Not many retail shops near but choice of food or drink establishments not too far away

Viking bay is a typical old seaside bay. lots of bars, restaurants around it. The actual beach is tidy and has most of what you would expect from a seaside beach even the donkeys in the summer.
