I have been visiting Broadstairs since I was a child. Viking Bay is a beautiful sandy beach with a café, children's trampolines, toilets, ice cream stalls. Even at high tide there is still plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the Bay

Such a lovely area. Steeped in history. Spent a very enjoyable day there looking at the Dickens history. If you're in Kent, I would highly reccommend visiting here

This sandy beach is lovely and is close to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. There are better beaches at Botany Bay and Joss Bay, but given the locality of the amenities and facilities, this beach is tough to beat. It's a fantastic place to take kids and is highly recommended for families.

This is a quintessentially English beach. It is a horseshoe shape, quite small and with great yellow sand. There is a concrete seawater swimming pool at low tide. There are trampolines and amusements for children. There are beach huts. There is great ice cream (Morellis) near by. There is a harbour. There are seagulls and seaweed. No doubt there a... More

There's nowhere else in the world I would rather live. Plenty of lovely places to visit, but you just have to keep coming back. Whilst most visitors come in the summer, it's actually lovely in the winter too and the water sports actually get better (provided you get a wet suit!)

Lovely beach in the heart of broadstairs. Very clean you can walk your dog on in winter months. Short stroll to the restaurant's and bars for some worm food.

I love this beach , with its lovely sand ,punch & Judy , colourful beach huts ,fishing boats, the pier where you can sit and soak up the sun ,or have an ice cream or a meal, this bay is also ideal for artists which is the reason I first visited ,wonderful.

It's the beach you want to go to. It's lovely but only if you leave before the evening. It gets a lot of teens down there and they are not so great. Got everything you want when going out. Shops, cafe and hire. What more you want.
