We visited the beach cove play area today and spent about 2 hours there. We payed for admission and for a few pounds extra our daughter got a meal deal. It was quite a cold windy day so most of our time there was spent indoors. We had a few goes on the swings and zip wire before heading into the warmth. Our daughter enjoyed the soft play area and there was plenty of room to run about. The food from the rock pool cafe was nice and the service was fast as we wasn’t waiting long for food once ordered. We will visit again but wait until the weather has improved so we can use all the play area outside.

This review is based off a couple of visits, firstly the price for a 2 year old is a bit pricey in my opinion especially when he can only really go in the toddler section. More needs to be done making sure only under 4s go in the toddler area, the cleanliness is a massive issue here the carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, the play area is dirty and desperately needs updating. The staff don’t seem very interested in the job there doing or the building it’s self. I also think it’s shocking. That you have to pay for an outdoor park! Normally these things are free at a shopping complex. After this last visit I’ve decided we won’t be going back I’d much rather travel further afield to somewhere better.

They have certainly made a great job of Beach Cove. My Grandsons go there and one nearly every week. It's the highlight of their week and we enjoy watching them race round and they make a lot of friends there. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always greet us.

Our three children had a lovely time playing in this indoor/outdoor activity centre. Coffee was OK but theres a really good coffee shop you can stop by in Freeport. Didn't try the food, but I will next time and add a review with that.

Spent 3 hours here with 2 small children who are prone to escaping if given half a chance! The gates are constantly open, with no one on the door to stop them. Anyone seems to be able to wander out without being asked to sing out, very poor security in these times where we should feel safe.

I took the grandchildren here (aged 10 and 7) I was concerned it may be too young for the older one but she loved it too, especially the bouncing pillow. I thought she would be too old for the racing cars but there was a bigger one and she and her younger brother loved them. They were £1 extra but worth it. They also enjoyed the zip wire and the indoor play area. It was fully worth the £4.70 for each child with adults being free. I thought the food was expensive - we couldn’t get the meal deal as my grandson has PKU and wouldn’t have been able to eat anything included. We did take a picnic for him but apparently this isn’t allowed but no one stopped us. Afterwards we went into the bug house and to be honest thought that was a bit of a rip off at £3 each we didn’t do the show. Overall the kiddies enjoyed the day. We got an ice cream each but from the Thornton shop in the shopping area which, although a tad expensive, was gorgeous. I also got to look round some shops.

I wanted to treat my 2 young grandchilden aged 5 and 7 to a fun play day out. My daughter and I were unable to sit outside due to tables being uncleared of uneaten food, dirty pots and food scattered all over the floor which encouraged swarms of wasps! Inside, we bought a coffee, a coke and 2 ice lollies overpriced @ nearly £7! There were no clean tables, rubbish all over the floor. Very well staffed although congrigating around the kitchen area for most of the time. Previous visits have been enjoyable and perhaps this could be due to the school holidays and the place being busier than usual. We will continue to support our local attractions and hopefully our next visit may be better.

So we went the Hornsea beach cove last week, knowing the kids loved it last year apart from there been far to many bigger boys and girls bombing around. So we decided to try again this year. It was so busy we felt lucky to grab a table in doors as there was six of us and a pram. At first the table was full of old dinner plates from the people before us , but within seconds a young girl cleared our table and cleaned it. She worked her socks of that day. Along with all the staff. All young but all worked well together. I think it cost £7.50 per child and they get to eat a hot meal or a picnic , ours all had the picnic which was great apart form the mini doughnuts. Awful.. but they was more than happy. The indoor play area is great a large area for the older ones ,a toddler area and another area with houses and buggies. Yes it's not the cleanest of places but thats what you get for having a carpeted floor and 100s of kids. I would of liked a staff member to be more visible in the play are to police it a little as again big boys running knocking others down. But it was fun for the kids and they loved it. Out side was a none starter for us really for one reason WASPS EVERYWHERE! So im only going to comment on the bouncy bed thing. Great addition adding a cover even if we stayed out there for 10 minutes. One last note the toilets apart from one been out of order , they was clean and tidy. Well done beach cove and hard working staff.

I visited here with my friend and my 2 year old boy. It was during term time so it was quiet. There was plenty for my boy, who really enjoyed it. I noticed there was 4 members of staff who seemed to be sat around talking quite a lot. I ordered a burger which wasn’t brilliant but pricey and my friends bacon sarnie was almost burnt. I was then disgusted at the state of the toilets. There was filthy toilet brushes in view of customers, broken toilet seats, and dust and cobwebs. Surely for hygiene reasons with children they should be at a clean standard. I also found it amazing that the staff were looking bored when there was cleaning that they clearly had time to do.
