The petrifying well was interesting and the fish in the aquarium very well kept, with good information on screens near the tanks. The old swimming pool now filled with fish, old prints of the area and the holograms completed a varied set of entertainments!

Didn't have to book online here which was nice. We could just turn up. £3.50 each. Unfortunately no push chairs are allowed in due to the steps and the building and no where to store them either . Lots of fish to see and descriptions of the fish. Good history about the old lido where now they have Koi fish. Lots of other marine animals to see. On the top floor there was a holographic exhibit. Was very strange at the top of a aquarium but interesting to look at. Nice hour spent here.

Recently took my 2 year old and she loved it! It a great little aquarium with a few rooms of different fish and an old swimming pool of huge Koi Carp. There are also hollograms and petrifying well which are also interesting to look at. At the end you can also have a go in the arcade! A really quirky and unique place, and with an entry fee of around £3.00 we will definitely visit again!

This aquarium is really sweet and unique, a good collection of fish and turtles. The petrifying well is also unique how it turns things to stone. Don’t expect lots and lots of fish here as it’s only a few rooms but for the price of £3.30, you cannot really grumble, it’s such a reasonable fee. The aquarium is actually in an old Victorian swimming baths and I love how they have converted the old pool into a huge koi carp pond. You can just imagine it how it used to be, a lot of the original features still exist. Really worth going to when going to Matlock Bath! I recommend!

A must see while you're in Matlock Bath! Cost about £3 entry and definitely worth it. Saw loads of fish and terrapins. Hollagrams upstairs are really interesting too. Can feed the koi which is fun.
