We were visiting Matlock whilst on holiday in the Peak District and came across Abraham Heights as we drove along the road and saw the cable car. Decided to stop and visit and so pleased we did. Lots of things to do, apart from going up on the cable car. Great view at the top with a restaurant and bar.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. What's not to like; cable car ride, guided tour through the caves by Neil, climb a tower and explore the different rooms full of historic information and fossils - perfect. Everyone we met was cheerful and happy to help. We ate tasty sandwiches from the cafe and the scenery was stunning. A great day... More

You may question the cost of the cable car, which is a lot I suppose, however what you get if you utilise everything on offer is very good value. Out granddaughter loved the caves, we never ventured to the lower one she didn't fancy the walk back up she is only 6 and her little legs were getting tired. We... More

What a brilliant place. Right from getting on the cable car to the end, everyone was so helpful, everywhere was so clean, and the tour guide Gemma was the star of the show. Great day out

Took my nephew to this lofty place at half term and had a great afternoon there. He particularly enjoyed the cavern tour with wonderful guide Neil, who brought the underground world to life with superb descriptions. We visited the Rock Shop and found really nice souvenirs made from stones. There were nice places for a picnic and we sat watching... More

Very expensive at £32 for two of us quite a lot for kids but disappointed in adults stuff, the cave tour was interesting and travelling in the cable car was different but a leaky roof and rain made it not very enjoyable. would probably rate higher if was less expensive

A great experience for the children traveling up in the cable car. Although it was a cold day, the children loved the play area and really enjoyed the mine visit.

It was one of those days when you do not know whether to try something or not. I went up on the cable car and when you get to the top there is a café and a lot of nice views but my favourite thing was going up on the cable car. Matlock itself is in beautiful countryside and you... More

Very pleasant trip. Kindly staff, who assisted with a wheelchair in our party. Luckily the weather was dry, as I don't think we would have got the best out of it if not, as we couldn't visit the cave because of mobility problems.

Excellent facilities, all kept on good clean condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Cave experience worth a visit. Fantastic views from the top. Use the cable cars - very novel way of travel up there. All in all, I could not fault it at all - that's unusual for me!
