An unforgettable day
A visit to the Dolfinarium is an unforgettable day out for the whole family. Because how often do you get the chance to meet dolphins, take a close look at sea lions and touch sharks?

Use all of your senses
You can easily spend an entire day at Europe's largest marine mammal park. Take a stroll from the Dolfijnendelta (Dolphin Delta) – where newborn dolphins swim – to the Zeehondenzand (Seal Sand) where common seals live together with grey seals. Listen to the rowdy sea lions and see with your own eyes how enormous walruses are. At the Roggenrif (Ray Reef) you get to meet some smaller inhabitants of the North Sea. Sea bass, rainbow trout and anemones, for example. You can observe them closely and learn all about these interesting creatures. You can even touch the sharks and the rays.

 Eye to eye
Of course you get to take a close look at our marine mammals. There are eleven unique shows in which the dolphins, sea lions and walruses show you their best moves. Be amazed and moved by their extraordinary appearance!

Animal welfare first
The Dolfinarium has been around for nearly fifty years. Over the years we have done a lot of research and made a significant contribution to the protection of the animals in the wild. Animal welfare has always been and will always be our top priority in our research. We take care of our marine animals with a lot of love, passion and respect.
And it shows: the animals in Harderwijk grow (a lot) older than their congeners in the wild and every year many babies are born in our park. As the main sponsor of Stichting SOS Dolfijn we are proud that we are able to help increase the well-being of the animals.

Went to the dolfinarium with the kids, parking was a bit of a mess, lots of work going on, we had to pay 8.50 euro and still walk probably 1km to get to the entrance! Kids loved the animals, saw some shows with the walrus...More

The Dolphinarium lacked a strong foundation in ecology and biodiversity. In an era of Sustainable Development Goals you would have thought that it would have emphasized these points. There was a lack docents and local species available. There were more food kiosks, souvenir stands and...More

Shows only in Dutch, which proves problematic for anyone who doesn't speak it. It's expensive and disappointing for what you get. Actually I can't believe this 'attraction' exists in the Netherlands given all of the ethical issues surrounding the keeping of these intelligent creatures in...More

The Dolfinarium is a nice 1-day destination for families. The shows are small and quite suitable for small kids. Food offer could be improved, though. Outside there are some works ongoing that affected the closest parking but it is still easy to park and access...More

We visit the place in August 2017 with 10 and 16 years. The feeding shows are nice, no more. The problem is that no explanation was in English! This is really disappointing and affect the experience. The main show is nice. Bottom line, to expensive...More

We went with kids ages 7 and 10. They are not set for tourists and everything is in Dutch (shows and explanation signs) The shows are cute and the kids liked it. There are some playground areas around the place. Overall nice experience

Ondanks de lange geschiedenis van het park nog altijd een topper onder de dagjes weg. Een uitje voor het hele gezin. Despite its long history still the number 1 of Holland, when it comes to themeparcs. Really a day out for all the family!

The shows are very nice and well designed, Personally i was missed the exhibition of acquariums with many kinds of small fishes, crabs etc. Not all shows are suitable for a rainy day Bottom line, recommended
