Cycling on the Greenway

While on family holiday on the Gold Coast, Waterford we hired bikes to cycle on the Greenway. It was a wonderful experience. Both adults and children ranging in age from 2 to 9 had a great time. Just one caveat: the Greenway crosses the Gold Coast road. There is no warning sign for motorists and this puts both cyclists and pedestrians in danger.

Best Day ever on Waterford greenaway.

We recently hired Ebikes from Bike and Hike adventures. We couldn't rate them highly enough. They had different style bikes to suit everyone in our family. We had an amazing day on the greenway and Mike and the team couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Dungarvan as the only way to spend a day on the greenway. Superb value. We'll be back next year, thanks.

Amazing 5 Star Service

Highly recommend this amazing company
Nothing was to much trouble
We brought our dog,and we were provided with an excellent dog carrier on the electric bikes
These bikes were more than worth the price super strong and 5 star quality.We will definitely be back very soon

Happy kids on the cargo e-bike

We rented a cargo e-bike with two child seats for our one and three year olds and another e-bike also. The service was spectacular - every person we met was fantastic. And the children loved the views from the e-bike…so much so we are going to look at purchasing one for ourselves. Highly recommend.

Great Day Out in The Greenway on the Electric Bikes

We recently hired 4 Electric Bikes from Bike and Hike Adventures in Dungarvan for the family to do the Waterford Greenway and it really was the way to do it. Firstly the staff were very helpful giving advice on the route and how to use the e-bikes. The hire cost was very good value for the day hire and the bikes were really easy to use. Using the e-bikes was the way to tackle the greenway, with our our family we had varying levels of cycling ability and fitness levels and the e-bikes allowed us to cover the majority of the greenway at ease. It was really a great day out

The best way to enjoy the greenway

We hired ebikes from Bike and Hike Adventures in Dungarvan and headed along the greenway to Kilmacthomas. The bikes were so easy to use and meant we all enjoyed the cycle- no complaining from teenagers about hills or getting tired! Also we could all stay together and enjoy it despite varying levels of fitness. We had a nice lunch in Kilmacthomas before heading back. There are coffee stops on the way to enjoy too. A great trip- but made a lot more enjoyable by doing it on the ebikes. Can't recommend enough.
