Nice walk along the lake of Peschiera del Garda in a westerly direction. The path is sometimes quite narrow and despite the obvious prohibition signs, many non-Italian tourists still ride their e-bikes or bicycles on this footpath. Sometimes there are quite dangerous moments, especially with small children. It's very sad that these people are acting so badly. Unfortunately, there are no controls, which is why the prohibition signs are simply ignored.

Canal side promenade in the centre of this beautiful old town. The colourful boats, beautiful swans and lovely trees offering shade from the hot sun - wonderful place to stroll around and enjoy.

Very beautiful promenade at the canal side of the old town. Swans and other birds swimming. The restaurants at the canal are not the best in town… take a street or two to the inner old town to find some gems.

We considered this town a fabulous find as we were not expecting it to be so beautiful. We stopped by chance on our way to Desenzano. This old fortress town by the harbor is small but really pretty and well kept with lots of restaurants and shops all spread throughout the town as well as more by the water. There are some nice little walks around here and lots more to see within a short ride. Only about three kilometers away are two major pleasure parks.

Beautiful little street! The trees have twinkle lights at night, there’s piped in music, and it’s a great spot for un cafe or aperitivo on the river.
