Every time we visit Montalcino we must visit Villa Cipressi for this honey. This is our favorite honey in the whole world. They have probably about a dozen or so different kinds and all of them are incredible. Our favorite is probably the truffle, but the acacia and chestnut are also excellent. All of them are really amazing, we wish we had more room in our suitcase so that we can buy them all. This truly is like no other honey there is.

We happened across this winery as we were traveling around Montalcino & so glad we did! We didn't have reservations but it didn't matter. Costanza took us on a very informative & interesting tour of their winery. The zebra tasting room was the best that I have ever seen! We had 6 bottles shipped home to enjoy on our return! I would definitely recommend this winery to everyone!

Wonderful tour of the excellent Brunello wine and the many many varieties of honey!
The Salsa Balsamico Miele is amazing!! The owners are very friendly. This is a must see if you're in the area.

Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit the vineyard during our stay, but we had the pleasure of meeting the proprietor Humberto at the vendita diretta storefront in Montalcino. We were lucky to be enjoying lunch at L'Angolo on the other side of the street and noticed they just opened their doors. Humberto allowed us to sample several types of honey and we walked away with two showstoppers. I suggest the Miele Tiglio (great on Pecorino al Tartufo) and the Miele Balsamico (great for tea / throat). The flavors are quite complex and far more interesting that most honeys found in the U.S. And with musicians / singers in our family, the Balsamico is delicious by the spoon and loaded with fresh herbs and eucalyptus that really soothes your throat. We also grabbed a few bottles of their extra virgin olive oil...now I wish we bought more! Next time we will definitely visit the vineyard and taste the wines, but please don't bypass the other treasures they offer!

Small winery which offers a very personal visit by the owners themselves. They do not produce a small selection of delicious wines but also very special and extraordinary honey. We‘ll return 😀

We visited the vineyards tasting room where you can also buy products - wine, oil, honey - like their store in town.
We had a reservation for a wine taste & tour by Valentina, as well as an opportunity to meet the winemaker. In addition to the the beautiful vineyard and drinkable Brunello wine each aspect created a good experience. Our only disappointment was our discovery after we purchased our 60€ bottles from the vineyard. Just a 3 minute drive to the local & nearby Enoteca was selling the exact Brunello & vintage at a 13€ discount per bottle. As a consumer, this discovery demonstrates a reduced integrity of the vineyard's product. Needless to say, we are motivated to support small local vineyards, however do not appreciate the inflated prices offered at the vineyard.

We buy stuff from this place for some years now and they are really good, like honey, olive oil, wine, etc. We take them to our home country and enjoy them there.

We were attended to by Mr. Dario, who speaks Portuguese, and showed us the entire property and wine production.
We visited the winery in September, the vines were full of grapes and it was harvest time.
Exceptional education and friendliness.
We had lunch of several delicious Italian delicacies, and drank lots of wonderful wine.
I will certainly be back.
