A very nice tour—knowledgeable & pleasant tour/tasting guide. A lovely lunch, however one person could not eat all of her chicken & they would not allow her to take it w/ her/—why???

We had a private tasting and had a great time with our guide. She was very personable and knowledgeable. The location could not have been prettier or more picturesque. I arrived late due to driver error but there was no problem. The wines are delicious...More

I’d give this place five stars if the prices were more in my galaxy. What I could afford was very good, and it was nice having Poggio Antico Brunello at the table. The appetizer, soft cooked egg coated in red cow parmigiana, was strangely superb....More

I really liked their wines. We did a late afternoon tasting (5:30 PM), and then had dinner at the restaurant on their property. The restaurant features a great chef. The winery visit includes a brief tour and then a visit to their tasting room; you...More

What an amazing place! Our wine guide Nicoletta did a superb job. And she works there for only one year. Very distinctive, informative and passioned about what she does. Not to forget the tasting itself. Amazing wines and great explanations. The vineyard is super clean,...More

We visited this winery with our private guide, Giovanni. The person who conducted the wine tour and tasting was excellent. The wines we tasting were great and we ended up ordering wine to be shipped back home to the United States.

Best wine tasting experience ever and doesn't break the bank! Different levels of tastings at different prices, but highly recommend the 25€ which gives you 6 tastings and with their pours it is more like 2-3 glasses of wine, which would cost you the same...More

We visited the winery as a family trip while in Florence this week. We hired a private driver from Giuseppe Mirossi service to take us to a couple wineries, and Poggio Antico was our first stop. The views and the location were amazing, everyone was...More

Very nice winery outside of Montalcino. Enjoyed doing a tasting and not the full tour. Just mean that in that it can be hard to find a place where you can just do a tasting without the whole thing. Great service.

We booked the tour and dinner and overall, came away with mixed feelings. The winery tour was pretty basic. While the vineyard property is in a great spot and one of the highest elevations in Montalcino, the winery is basic with very little character or...More

We purchased wine from a different vineyard and if I remember correctly, it cost us $100 to shop a dozen bottles back. I'm guessing Poggio Antico would be similar cost. They have helpful customer service so you could email... More
