My husband and I were in Italy in December for several weeks and had booked a tour of Poggio Antico winery right before Christmas. We were so happy that they would take us so close to a major holiday. Martina showed us through and was so informative plus being fun! We had a tasting - bought a mixed case of... More

This vineyard is great. The staff is fantastic. We got to see the entire process, even the grapes coming from the fields. We weren't planning on buying anything but the wine was so good we all got cases sent back home!!

The tour conducted by Daniele was really informative, he took us through the wine making process from harvest to bottling. We loved the wine (and the olive oil) obviously.. the restaurant served really great food, not cheap, but very good. They've also got certain vintages that they sell only to visitors to the vineyard. Definitely worth the visit if only... More

In late July 2015, my wife and I visited the Poggio Antico Winery. After a great lunch at Ristorante di Poggio Antico, we joined Martina for a tour of the winery. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and spoke superb English. Following the tour, we visited the tasting room where we sampled grappa and several excellent wines, and purchased six bottles... We visited Poggio Antico on a delightfully sunny and chilly day in October. The grapes were picked several weeks before, but the vineyards looked beautiful and the vista overlooking the area was magnificent. Our tour guide was charming, friendly and knowledgeable, and the wines we tasted--well, what would you expect--were terrific. We lingered in the tasting room with several others... More

We recently spent a week in Tuscany visiting small towns and wineries in the area around Montepulciano. We made it a point to visit a small, a medium and a large winery. The medium sized winery we chose was Poggio Antico, near Montalcino. The winery is absolutely beautiful! We were greeted on arrival and joined a small group of about... More

Very impressed with no only the process but the care they take in making the Brunello wines. The wins they produce are a direct result of the location of their vineyards ad the processing of their wines as we saw in our tour with Daniel. He not only educated us on how Brunello wines are made but how critical their... More

Excellent wine tasting and tour! The wines are fantastic and the staff is super friendly. We ended up shipping a half a case back to the U.S. Make sure to check their website or email the winery directly to schedule the tour.

Visited the Poggio Antico winery for lunch and an extended tasting together with Mo Wineclub. We had the whole range of their wines from the rosso to the Riserva. The facilities in the tasting-room were a bit small for such a large group, but the staff arranged it very nicely. The sorroundings and the view together with the well-kept property... More
