Villa Carlotta welcomes you with its magnificent botanic garden and art masterpieces in over 70.000 square metres of gardens and museum.

Villa and Gardens

The gardens here are the star. The villa itself is interesting and has beautiful views, but the gardens are extensive and beautiful.

Even thought it is autumn, the garden is beautiful, colorful and has many interesting points and flora. the museum was not too interesting for us, so we just passed it quickly, and spent more than an hour touring the gardens.

Well worth a visit for the gardens alone. The house is mainly a museum with very nice sculptures. Stunning views across the lake. A small cafe too

A lovely house with beautiful gardens.Shame it was wet when we were there. You can get in for 7 euro instead of 9 if you are over 65. Remember your passport.

The Villa is unpretentiousness but the views of the Lake are quite stunning. The gardens are the main attraction. I am told on good authority by my wife who is a keen Gardner that the best time to visit will be in early summer when the gardens will be in full bloom. We visited in September which didn't provide the... More

Villa Carlotta was lovely to look around, but the real attraction was the gardens and the views of lake como. They have a reasonably priced cafe there with a wonderful view of the lake.

The villa is quite different from anything else I had ever visited. It is famed for its gardens although we visited on a day of torrential rain so had to make do with a tour of the villa. The property is truly remarkable with views of the lake that are exceptional. We were unable to visit the garden due to... More

You can spend hours meandering through the pathways to find flowerbeds, waterfalls, fountains, etc. There are beautiful views of Lake Como around every corner. The Villa has interesting artwork in it, as well. For free parking, go to the lot after the Villa on the left. You can park there all day.
