Extraordinary. Must see. Take the tour. We are not "tour people," but this one was worth it. Enriching, enlightening and quite fascinating.

Really good tour of amazing house and gardens. Great to hear the history of the place. Amazing views in every direction. Long walk from entrance to ticket office on hillside, even via the easier route. UK National Trust members get a sizeable discount.

Came on a day trip here with my boyfriend and left with my fiancé He proposed in the beautiful gardens of this villa over looking the lake... can honestly say I've never been to a more picturesque place... we took the river boat and stopped off at all the little ports up and down the lake... it was such a... This tour of the villa and surrounding gardens was beautiful and gave some insight into the remarkable life of Italian retail mogul and international explorer, Guido Monzino. The villa is well curated and presented for tours and the gardens are immaculate. If you find yourself on the West bank of Lake Como near Sala Comancina, this is definitely worth a... More

Visited this wonderful house and gardens as part of our trip with Riviera travel. Arrived in style on our private launch and were greeted by an absolutely stunning villa and beautiful gardens. Our guide around the house was fantastic. No boring monologues here.

Beautiful gardens are worth a visit and a walk around for an hour. Take The boat in and walk back to town. Good for an hour, unless gardens are really your thing. Bit pricy given how little is there

Worth taking the boat so you can get some great shots. Quite steep but stunning gardens. I didn't bother with the interior tour, just the gardens. You can look though the windows into the rooms anyway! A must see if you are in the area!

We travelled from Lezzeno by boat to Lenno and then walked the lovely 30 minute walk along from the ferry. Yes it has some hills but we all enjoyed it! We had the advantage of a lovely sunny day. The villa is not cheap to enter, cost us just over 50 euros for 2 adults, 1 student and a 14yo.... More
