The man that works in the museum has so much passion about his job it was so so lovely to see. Absolute little gem of a place and a must visit for all in kolymbia.
The man was so friendly towards our little boy, and so informative.
We really really enjoyed our visit and the souvenirs were very well priced.

I never get tired of a visit to the Folklore Museum, such an amazing place with variety of vintage items. It's a folklore indeed. The owners Stamatis and Valentina were so kind and welcoming and they provided us loads of information about the animals and plants of Rhodes, so we had a glimpse of its rich past. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful place.

The owner of the museum was super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. All photos and artefacts are his own with a gallery available on his website with more. He was very enthusiastic about everything and explained very interesting facts in perfect English. The museum itself is tiny but there is so much to see and learn about, and the location is close to the main eucalyptus street for good food and drinks.

A very interesting little museum, covering many varied topics in a relatively small space. As others have said, the owner is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate as he explains the context and background behind the exhibits. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I loved this little place. Small but so much to see and learn. The owner has his ansestors family pictures and artefacts which makes it all the more interesting. We had an impromptu guided tour by the owner which made our visit seem very special. The museum is tucked away at the edge of Kolimbia main streets, so seek this little place out and learn about Rhodean life!

If you are round the area I highly suggest visiting this lovely little museum, so much to see and cheap for what its worth. Great to go along with friends or family, owners will give you a full tour and explain anything needed to know.
They also have a really nice little gift shop for you to take some lovely souvenir's home.

The owner can tell very enthusiastic about all the things you see. There are fresh plant parts which you can touch and smell. With description by name and use in English and German. Also pictures of flowers and animals in Rodos. All made by themselves. Further you see tools and uses for the tools from long ago until recent. You see where people lived and how they cooked not that long ago. But most of all the explanation of all the things you see from plants to tools is very vivid and enthusiastic with lots of historic explanation when we asked him about it. A little gem of a museum.

Had a great time here seeing the flora and fauna of Rhodes and the history within the traditional home. Lovely personal anecdotes and stories from the owner and gave real insight into the significant impact of year of occupation has had on the island and it’s families. It’s small but well worth a visit

This museum was an unexpected gem. Beforehand, I wasn't sure what to expect, but once we arrived and started talking to the owner, it was a real treat. Although the museum and nature parts are small, there are a lot of things to look at. Add the passionate commentary of the owner, who's knowledge of everything there is almost limitless, this makes for a lovely hour or two.
