Dodekanisos Seaways is the shipping company, who ,with her two modern and high speed catamaran Dodekanisos Express and Dodekanisos Pride and her conventional car-passenger ferry Panagia Skiadeni has changed data inside the islands of Dodekanisos by connecting almost daily all the islands of Dodekanisos with Rhodes and Kos ,which, are the administrative, financial and tourist center of the county. Furthemore, in summer , Dodekanisa are daily connected with Fournous, Ikaria and Samos.

A very reliable way to visit Dodecanese Islands

Actually I wanted to give 4.5 stars. They are good, they are fast and very reliable.
You can count that you will leave on time.
Space is enough for everybody, the bar at the ships is not expensive. The air conditioning is very different according to where you sit. Upstairs it will get warm, downstairs in the middle cold, the best seats are downstairs at the window.
The staff very nice. We used it to visit over 10 islands in Dodecanese and we were very happy.

The only negative is the high prices. For some islands understandable, they are further away and not easy to reach (Agathonisi, Kasteloriso etc). But for 50 minutes to Symi 40 Euro to go and come back is a lot. The tourist boats had better prices in this point and needed not necessarily longer to reach.

Thankfully we registered for free online and we got 20% off for each trip. Otherwise we were perfectly happy and we will choose it again for our trips.

Super efficient and pretty comfortable

We took the Dodekanisos Pride (catamaran) from Rhodes to Patmos, to Symi and back to Rhodes. The ferry was incredible punctual and has a super fast turnaround. Bags were always out ready to go when you reached your destination. Their website works well too.

Great Cruise to Symi

Took the day long cruise to Symi on 18th April 2016.The cost of the trip was 21 euros since tickets were bought the day before in Mandraiki. The boat left dead on time at 9.30am from the commercial harbour and arrived at the monastery on Symi after about 90 minutes at sea skirting around the coastline of Turkey . We had about an hour at the monastery before setting sail for the picturesque Symi town. It took about 45 minutes to get there and we were given about 3 hours to spend in Symi Town. The back of the boat had a large LCD dispay showing the time we had to be back on board and a horn was sounded before departure so that everyone could get back on board.The boat was clean and there were places on board where you could get food and drink. The boat left Symi about 4pm and arrived back in Rhodes at 5.30pm.

Rip off service, poor vessel and rude staff who disobeyed their own covid rules.

We booked a one way ticket from Kos to Rhodes for our family of 4 and our small/normal family car (Dacia Duster). The 2 and a half hour crossing cost €120 which seemed quite expensive but I decided it was worth it. The boat was 45 minutes late but this wasn't really a problem for us. When we started boarding the boat a rude member of staff started shouting at us because the car was too big. He demanded an extra €108 euros and he wanted to leave straight away. The boat had arrived late and he was determined to make up time. With my whole family, I had no choice but to agree the extortionate additional fee. The vessel was old, the cleanliness was appalling and the staff were all rude. Covid regulations meant we all had to wear masks which we did but the staff did not. We've booked the return with Bluestar Ferries and we'll never use Dodecanese again.

Very good service and good clean and fast service too
Stayed on Rhodes and decided to go to Symi for a few days. Early departure giving a full day after only 45 min trip from mandraki harbor. When going back gave a full day before going back to Rhodes

Recommendable for island hopping between the Dodecanese islands

Very nice transfer on the open air sun deck getting the warm wind in you face.

Amazing service

Since starting this service has revolutionise travelling to the Dodecanese Islands. It is a fast service which can take you to 6-7 Islands and back to Rhodes. Excellent, clean and very fast service has open opportunities to travellers to visit many Islands within a short space.
The service is so efficient that they only stop for 5' in each port. People would take the lugagge, leave the ship and new passengers will embark all within 5'.
The ship has a lovely bar on board.

Dodekanisos Seaways is fast and safe way to travel to the islands of dedecanese complex. In a few hour you will be in another island and then yoy can return back .A good way to travel from their main port at Rhodes to any island around .

Returned from Symi to Rhodes on the express catamaran. Passengers on and bingo super fast. Clean and efficient. Will definitely travel with them again.

Day Trip to Symi

Had a fabulous day trip to Symi Island and Panormitis Monastary. Lovely boat trip with good amenities and clean and comfortable ship. Symi is a delightful place and well worth a visit. Very reasonably priced trip too.

NO other way to travel between the greek islands.

Experience comfort, and safety on these large ferry vessels. No other way to travel between the Greek islands. Try it! They are safe for all age groups.
