Throughout our holiday, my girlfriend and I booked several tours and excursions across Rhodes from the office in Ixia, which was all amazing experiences. Thank you Yoita for your kind service. The bus picks you up at your hotel and drops you off at the same spot, which was very convenient.
Our first trip was the bay-to-bay excursion which was a boat trip where we had four stops where we could swim. Very beautiful locations! Lunch was included as well in the trip. The time allocated for each stop was also sufficient.
The second trip was to Lindos by bus where we experienced the acropolis and walked through the city. Great and beautiful scenery from the top of the acropolis.
The third trip was the island tour where we visited the Butterfly Valley, Ancient Kamiros, Siana Village, and other stops as well where we also had the option to taste local products (sundried tomatoes, olive oil, wine, and souma). The trip included lunch, which was very delicious and had a vegetarian option. For some of the stops, we wished we had some more time to walk around and that the guide spent less time talking about all the places. The trip was a full-day tour and took approximately 9 hours in total.
The fourth trip was to Chalki island. Very beautiful island and breathtaking scenery. We had 6 hours to explore the island which was plenty of time. We also spent time a the local beach which was very beautiful as well.
Overall, we can only recommend booking the excursions at Holidays Essential as we wouldn't have been able to do the tours ourselves. Friendly staff, great service, and very affordable prices.

Used Ialyssos branch in July & found lady in office very pleasant & informative that we used again in october. There seemed to be 2 brothers who drove their buses they were very chatty smiley & informative & clear on what was going on. They take you from bus to boat/ferry giving you all info. Very comfortable air conditioned coach or small comfy mini bus. Would highly recommend.

We chose this company over a competitor and booked two trips.
The man in the office gave a full itinerary of both trips, ensuring that we understood what was included and what would cost extra on the day. Costs were comparable with other companies.
Because pick up was not at our hotel, he used google maps to show us where to wait, right down to street view and we had no issues on the day. He even wrote down exactly what transfer companies were used to make identification easier.
Friendly, helpful and was in no rush to simply take our money. Add the great organisation of the trips themselves and this is a company worth using.

Family of 4 visiting for two weeks and wanted to find a reliable company to book a number of trips. Tui at the hotel were charging twice the price for the same excursions.
Lady in the shop was very informative and helpful and we had the same driver for all trips who was always smiling, very polite and always reliable with air conditioned coach or mini bus each time.
We were impressed by the boat trip as we were picked up nice and early which meant we had a choice of seats when arriving on the boat, however the same people who we were with on the bustop from Tui ended up last on the boat.
This holiday company is very trust worthy and a short stroll from our hotel and we would definitely book with them again. Thank you!

We have just enjoyed several trips booked with holidays essential. Firstly, the lady inside of the shop was SO HELPFUL. She gave us lots of advise and explained everything very clearly. We also had to change a trip date which was no trouble at all ! Very efficient and professional !!
Next - Manos (the driver). I always feel a little nervous on foreign roads but Manos was brilliant !! He is a very careful and safe driver and I felt very at ease each time we travelled with him. Manos was very professional and well organised - a credit to the company !!
We took the Butterfly Island, Symi Island and Lindos by bus trips - all very well organised and incredible in their own rights.
Thank you for making our holiday so memorable !!

We booked three excursions with this company. The advisor in the shop was excellent and booking the tours was very easy and well handled. The drivers were excellent, nice smooth drives, courteous and helpful. The trips we booked were; Kalitheos, which was beautiful and indeed we booked it a second time. The other trip was to Symi, we travelled not on a small boat, but on a large ferry which was comfortable and we were able to purchase food at good prices. Symi is a beautiful island. We would have no hesitation in using this company again and would thoroughly recommend their service. Thank you to the owner and his staff for looking after us so well on our travels. We completed the butterfly valley and Filerimos excursion with holidays essentials. Firstly I just want to thank our coach driver, who was extremely helpful, friendly and fun! He definitely made the trip memorable.
The whole day was wonderful, but consisted of a lot of walking, especially up steep rocky steps.
The views were phenomenal from both locations, especially form Filerimos. There were also friendly peacocks at this location.
This was one of my favourite excursions and I would highly recommend it!

We have been staying in lalisos and wanted to take the tour to Marmaris. We read reviews and were a little nervous however we can not speak highly enough of the company and the tour. Setting off early but such an amazing bonus of being picked up close to our hotel. The guides were lovely, there was the option to take a tour round Marmaris or go your own way (same costs, just options).
Your ticket included the bus to the terminal, the ferry over and the tour. The ferry is small and can be choppy. It takes just over an hour. The guide is there and ses you through passport control which, yes is annoying but it's fast.
We chose to see Marmaris ourselves. The walk from the ferry to the bazar is ten mins then you can explore. We took another boat out to some islands then home. The driver of the bus is fantastic and even took us back door to door. Really could not ask for anymore and it's been out favourite day out of the holiday. Thank you.

Just been on the trip to lindos. The walk to the acropolis is quite slippy, queue to get in not too bad. Would recommend getting an e ticket. Views from the acropolis were amazing well worth the walk. Disappointed with the driver though. Not a word was spoken all through the journey. Was just like getting on a public bus. Very little information given when we got off the bus.

We booked through the Ixia shop.The lady was very helpful and friendly.We booked 3 trips.All of which were amazing!Much cheaper than through the hotel.The bus driver,amazing and our tour guide was really informative and friendly.We went on a guided tour,lindos by bus and Symi Island trip.All of which you won't be disappointed. Thank you for a great time.
