Worth a visit

This gallery contains several paintings by famous Greek artists of the 20th century. They are a bit crammed unfortunately. Worth a visit.

There is a good amount of art here (especially for the price), and it is pretty good quality. As others mentioned, it's a nice place to break from the sun (and crowds I suspect in summer). It's interesting to see the varied styles of the Greek painters in relation to the rest of the artistic canon (Picasso, van Gogh).

Very interesting gallery with some modern art from the twentieth century. It`s also a good place to relax from the crowds and the sun outside.

The Gallery is a nice breath of fresh air from all the crowded areas, the hot sun and the paved streets.

A gallery housing in 4 or 5 large rooms some of Greeks finest artists. Cool on a hot day, toilets- a break from the busyness of the Old Town shops & cafes. I enjoyed the work of Yannis Tsarouchis he is is probably one of the most significant Greek painters of the twentieth century.

Excellent modern art in old town museum - late 19th, early 20th century. I REALLY like the harvesters painting. Nice spacious layout. Cheap at €3. Would have like postcard/poster of some paintings. Spent quite some time looking for the other two museums. Eventually found very modern art open and 100 palms museum shut - no opening times displayed, but we... More

Loved seeing all of the statues and ruins. Great place to go with the entire family. You must pay to get in but it's not too expensive.
