Airport Transfer 5*+++++

Due to a decrease in visitors to Rhodes as a result of Covid-19, Half Price Tours offered airport transfers for 2020. We booked via Agne on Facebook initially who gave us a good price (25 euros each way airport to Faliraki) and confirmed the booking via email. All very straightforward and efficient, and no payment upfront (pay driver on the day). Agne was very quick to respond to all messages and was very helpful and efficient. After making the booking and confirming arrival and pick up times, I changed hotels, so I emailed Agne again and received a helpful reply, not a problem to change the transport to the hotel (it was in the same resort). Then, our flight times changed! So I emailed Agne again to confirm the flight details, again no problem at all. Then the worst thing happened - our flight was cancelled on the night before our flight! We were due to depart at 3 p.m. on the Sunday and I received an email from the airline at 8.45 on the Saturday night saying that the flight was cancelled! So I quickly booked another flight but it was arriving much earlier in the day and as I hadn't confirmed the flight until 10 p.m. the night before and our flight was at 7.50 the next morning, I panicked! I emailed Agne again and then went to bed. When I woke up at 4 a.m. the next morning to catch our flight, there was an email waiting for me, again no problem to pick up earlier and when we landed, the lovely Vitalie was waiting for us at the airport in a clean air conditioned mini bus (for just the two of us) and whisked us away swiftly and efficiently to our hotel. I confirmed the return travel time two days before we left and gave the time I wanted to be picked up. Again, a quick response was received confirming my request and our driver was early to pick us up. I would 100% recommend Half Price Tours, nothing was ever too much trouble and they were very quick to respond to queries and questions. Unfortunately we were not able to do any tours with them during our time on Rhodes but based on my experience with them for the airport transfers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again when in Rhodes. Thank you Half Price Tours. Excellent service!

Thank you Half Price Tour for perfect day

Went for a boat trip with my mom to Symi Island and used Half Price Tours. It was so easy to book the trip trough the internet. Pick up service was good and everything else was also perfect in service (paying, instructions to the boat and on the boat, instructions to the bus that took you back to the hotel etc.) So if you visit Greece and want to go to the boat trips then i recommend Half Price Tours (their prices are cheaper than travel companys)

Fun day out to Symi

We booked a trip to symi on the Zeus boat for an adult and two teens. We were attracted by the price, chance to swim in the cleanest of seas and experience the beauty of Symi. We chose this over a day trip to Kos as the ferry times were less humane to teens. There were covid procedures in place for track and trace upon arrival. Hey there early to get a seat on the top for sun. We got there a little late and took seats internally - for us this was good as the heat can be intense. We also had direct access to the lower, less crowded deck which I personally preferred. There’s a bar / cafe on board so no need to waste time buying drinks before hand. The boat stops at a small bay on symi and a walkway lowered for those wanting to jump into the sea. Otherwise the boat has two easy steps into the sea. This was our favourite part of the trip - the sea was a good temperature, and there were noodles / snorkels / baby life jacks for those that needed. The boat was thoroughly cleaned for covid reasons when we landed at symi. The staff were friendly and polite. A great budget day out.

Lindos express 10/10/20

We have just been on the Lindos express bus trip today with the lovely Vitali. What a lovely man; nothing phased him at all. Even though there were only my husband and I and another German couple on the minibus; he was very professional and courteous. He dropped us off at the Ice bar next to the bus station at the top of the main road down to the main square and explained that there was a local bus to get back up the slope, which only costs 50c each. We walked down and explored the little shops and found a lovely place to have lunch and cold drinks. Vitally was waiting for us at the bar at the arranged pick up time and returned us to our hotel safely. Very happy with your service today; a lovely day, thanks 🙏

Beautiful swimming Day + transfer is important!

The team was brilliant. The Crew went around, looked that everyone got a cold drink and gave interesting informations about each stop. Also the option for a cheap transfer is very important, because the busses are not in time! We can definitely recommend this swimming boot trip, with beautiful stops at the cost from Rhodos!

Well worth the trip

I fully recommend HALF PRICE TOURS,
The company was extremely professional, picked up on time from our hotel taking to the office to pay, really friendly staff that explained where you can go to get discount of food etc when you got to Symi .
Boarded the boat, which was very nice.
Snacks and drinks reasonable price, again lovely friendly staff 😊
Symi was beautiful, so quaint and pretty, time for a good look round, and had a great fish dish 😋
If I am in Rhodes again soon i will definitely be booking another trip.
Thankyou so much to everyone who was involved for making the day worth while

Full day island excursion

It was really easy to book the Symi island trip online including transfers and paying prior to boarding the boat.
Excellent communication via whattsapp once booked with confirmation email in addition to transfer pick up times and feedback post trip.
Crew on board were really friendly. We left the harbour at 10am returning 6.30pm, so good value for money

Lovely way to visit Lindos

Great communication from the start. Pick up from our hotel was on time and a really friendly driver. We transferred to the boat in the harbour pretty speedily. The boat trip was quite long to Lindos (2 hours) so try to find a seat with some shade (if you’re a sun worshipper there are some reclining sun beds on the top deck). We sat on the middle deck and there was a lovely breeze. Plenty of reasonably priced snacks (cold water, ice cream, crisps) on board and clean toilets.
In Lindos we opted to climb up to the acropolis for the view (takes about 10 minutes) and then to have a relaxing lunch at a beach restaurant far end of Lindos beach. As it was our first time to Lindos we felt that was perfect but another time we will visit inside the acropolis and church.
On the way back there were 2 stops for a swim (bring your own kit if you want to snorkel). Beautiful warm, clear water, tiny silver fish and a sandy bottom. You don’t need rock shoes and they provide woggles for casual floating in the water.
All in all a lovely thing to do on a sunny day and lots of fresh air. We were a 61 Yr old and a 19 Yr old in our party and we both enjoyed it although the 19 Yr old wished he had brought his AirPods to listen to music on the boat trip to and from Lindos!

A great day out when in Rhodes

Booking process was simple. We didn't have to pay up front. 6 of us were picked up at our hotel in Theologos and driven by minibus to Rhodes Town where we paid for the trip (you can pay by cash or card). We were then taken by another minibus to the boat on the harbour. The fast boat was air conditioned so a comfortable journey. We had four hours Symi which should be on everyone's bucket list. The minibus was waiting to take us back to our hotel when we got off the boat. Both drivers were excellent.

Day tour of Rhodes Island

Small group tour of the Island, if you are looking for a multi stop tour with just enough time to take in the sights then this is for you. Our guide Vitaly was very knowledgeable with lots of insights about the island and it's history, old and new, a true asset to the company. Would highly recommend if time is limited or if you just want one day to do something different. Couldn't find this tour anywhere else
