Our sailing ship was left in Faros Bay. According to some descriptions, you can walk to Castro. We were there in the middle of June, but the sun was very strong. I do not recommend walking to anyone. The bus is very rare. Taxis can...More

One visit is enough but necessary! a bit high but totally worth it! After having a nice coffee at the old town halls square and 30' before the sun sets, take the opportunity to visit Kastro and get the best overview of the island during...More

Probably one of the best medieval Cycladic settlements. The others are the one in the island Astypalaia and Patmos. Very steep, you need to be in a good physical condition to drift in all the little alleys. The old square with the 19th century Town...More

this hora is beautiful even if I`ve seen others that are more beatiful in Greece. During day it is nothing special, but with night lights it has some gorgeous corners. Must be seen anyway

It is worth the hike or bus ride. Climb up on narrow paths above the Hora to the Kastro. You will enjoy great views of Livadi and surrounding areas.

This really is a lovely place, high up above the sea and very quiet. Accessible by car, of course, but also by bus (though there aren't many each day!).

The hill top Chora dominates the skyline when you arrive at the port of Serifos. Do make a point of visiting the Chora and the Kastro and wandering the cobblestoned lanes. You can either take the bus which travels up hourly, taking about 12-15 minutes...More
