About
Santorini Dive Center has the best setup with easy and quick access to all the dive sites around the Caldera and the Volcanoes. The Dive Station is located at Caldera Beach, a small remote beach with traditional caves below the cliffs of Akrotiri village nearby the ruins of the ancient city overlooking the Volcanoes. Our Minibuses will transfer you there from your hotel. The station offers an easy and quick access to all the great volcanic dive spots because all of them are few minutes away. The divers can board from the small pier on the 9m spacious fibreglass fast diveboat able to carry 20 persons in order to start their dive trip. We have an office also in Perissa, at the southeast part of the island and is located in Perissa Camping in front of the famous Black Sand Beach, between the Camping's Beach Bar and Yazz bar.

The best instructors i could have! Kostas and his instructors really managed to impress me.
I came in scared and unsure and got out an Advanced Open Water, trusting myself enough to go through wrecks and nailing my buoyancy along with it!
I am very thankful to have met this team, the listened and did not rest until i felt fully sure with myself and my equipment to the point that we did extra pool exercises to conquer my fear of water in my mask. I also managed to improve my breathing and air consumption. I felt like part of the family and fully safe all the time!
They are a warm and very professional team and i can't recommend anyone better suited to teach diving!
You guys are the best!!! 😍

Excellent dive for new/inexperienced divers

Mark was our instructor and did an amazing job with my two children who are inexperienced divers. I'm impressed with how Mark took time with my youngest to keep him calm for his first dive which allowed us to have this experience as a family of four.

We've performed dives in the Caribbean and Red Sea and this water was a bit different with steep cliffs and vast depths .

My only critique is that the photo link expires quickly and I unfortunately can't download any of the videos or photos from my home computer. We live in USA and the dive was early in our trip and I'm sitting down at my computer at home 2 weeks later. I wish the link could be extended longer for travelers coming a long distance.

Diving is an amazing experience one should definitely try. For me, it was the first time and I got totally excited;
any kind of difficulties I had were got over with the team's help.
The instructor was precise, yet humorous and the whole team rather friendly and professional.
I would do it again. Thank you!

My best time in Santorini

I strongly recommend Santorini diving center. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere, but very professional at the same time. Everything was on time with good organization and quality equipment. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t dive soon but after the first dive was really inspired and returned for another two dives. My 10 years old son also made his first underwater adventure with Paul. Thank you

Wonderful 1st diving experience !

We did our first dive there. It was a magical moment all along. The staff was very patient and reassuring. Every steps, from the briefing to the diving itself was made smooth, and we were soon swimming among the fish with ease (for beginners that is !).
Thank you very much for this wonderful experience !
We are thinking about coming back for the real stuff (open water diver course) :-)

Amazing Open Water Diver training and certification 😃😃😃

We did the PADI Open Water Diver training and certification. When it comes to diving, preparation is everything—and Paul’s team did not disappoint. Particularly, our dive instructior Wendy was simply marvelous: knowledgeable, patient, and an amazing guide as we learnt new skills every day. We could not have hoped for more. If you want to explore the fantastic experience of diving or built on already existing skills, I wholeheartedly recommend Santorini Dive Cente. We’re sure to come back!

Great Dive Centre Santorini

My son pass his Open Water Junior certificate with Will - a brilliant teacher who took great care to ensure my lad will think like a diver for the rest of his life.
I did my Advanced course with Wendy a terrific Master who has a huge love for our sport and who likes to keep it fun, but has her eye on you at all times.
As we always expect in a good dive centre the kit is well maintained and they find the right balance to keep the atmosphere laid back and cool.
The centre offers two great shore dives straight from the door. Large rocks with >40m drops.
Enough fish and even octopus that you’d expect in this part of the Med. Nice not to spend time on a boat during these training days.
Fully recommend the centre to anyone wanting to learn or progress.
Thanks to Paul too who was a fine admin!

Safe and nice

Santorini Dive Center Office is located in Perissa. The dives take place at the crater side of the island near Akrotini. The team is so nice, there are free drinks (water, tea, coffee) and the gear is safe and new. Our instructor Paul, who runs the company with his wife and has another dive instructor, even taught my 10 year old son how to dive. So everyone should be able to learn diving here, they are patient and nice. I strongly recommend this company. They deserve your booking! On one day Paul took underwater photos from everyone and distributed them to the participants. What a service. In times of covid I have to mention that everybody is keeping the distance and wears masks (in the minibus but under water too 😁), the equipment is sanitized and you always have to clean the hands with sanitizer. Safe place, even during Covid-19.

Amazing place, can't recommend enough

I got my Open Water Diver certification here and it was seriously the BEST. Wendy (who was my instructor) was absolutely incredible--on the first day I got freaked out and she was so helpful calming me down and teaching me what to do better next time. She made sure to cover all the required skills and make sure each of us was comfortable with them, in a way that felt both slow enough to be safe but also fast enough to be efficient. Paul and Zoe at the dive center were also great (and Paul answered about a million of my nervous questions via email beforehand).

The beach is lovely, the water is awesome, and the facilities are more than adequate. Not that I have anything to compare it to, but the gear seemed good too. Truly though, the highlight was the people who made me feel so safe and comfortable, and I had so much fun. For a first-time diver, this place was incredible and I cannot recommend enough for anyone thinking of coming here!

A mostly great experience

There were so many things I loved about this dive center. It’s location. The dive sites. The staff. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is that my BCD had an issue. When I went out and tried to inflate I sank. I alerted my dive master and he said it was fine. It made me feel panic which I have never experienced. The second dive….I inflated to swim out and put on my fins and every time I inflated my bcd bubbled and I sank. Again I started to feel panic and again alerted my dive master. This time he realized the problem and fixed it. I had to float on my back and control my breathing to even descend. For newer divers like myself who know enough to know something is wrong but not enough to know how to fix it…..this could be a problem. Others would have walked out of the water. Other than that I had a fantastic time and saw beautiful scenery. I learned a valuable lesson that I’m glad I learned and that is to trust myself more.
