We enjoyed the sea and sun several times at Perissa Beach. If you need sun beds and umbrellas, there are many restaurants and bars which offer them free of charge for customers. We mostly went to the beach in the afternoon when it is not so hot. Our hotel manager at Aeolis Santorini recommended that we use the beach a... More

A very lively resort with an endless choice of good quality bars and restaurants opposite the beach, most with sunbeds included. Perissa is a few miles from anywhere else but if you want a beach holiday with water sports and some good bars and food, this is a good resort, less "tacky" than others.

The blank sand there small and soft. We spent a quiet lazy afternoon there with cocktails, taking a nap on sunbeds. Really nice. Strongly recommend it.

beautiful black sand beach (watch your feet as it gets very hot as soon as the sun hits, wear some sort of footwear)......great water, service, food, and from here you can catch a boat to Kalari Beach (just in front of you, on the beach, just have to walk to the water).

Volcanic sand, nice bars and restaurants along the front. The expensive ones I would stay away from, there are plenty of very good priced ones further along.

We enjoyed the calm waters and there are many restaurants on the road running along side the beach. Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the view.

Beach is beautiful-black beach. The food and hotel prices are significantly less than Fira and Oia area. Plenty of restaurant choices. The black sand is hot on a sunny day, you will need flip flops.

Very different type of beach. You can rent chairs or eat at a restaurant and get free/reduced chair prices. The sand is black and gets pretty hot so bring water shoes. The water is crystal clear. I wish they had some music playing or something considering it is an organized beach.

The beach is like grit and gets red hot. Use a restaurant which will then let you use their sunbeds. The locals are really friendly and especially good with children
