By far the nicest beach we went to in Santorini. Instead of sand, there are small black pebbles. Water is cold, but the view is lovely.

Despite having our hearts set on exploring and enjoying a number of beaches in Santorini, we found that we kept returning to Perissa beach. The beach is quieter than many of the others, while still offering water sports, places to eat and sunbeds. We elected...More

Black beach, quite steep in and out of the sea might not suit infirm and young children as deep quickly. Sunbeds expensive every day at 10€ per pair or some free if buy drinks or food but that works out about 9€ for 3 soft...More

Great semi quiet spot with great beach and no-pressure beach setups (chairs and umbrellas). A lot of different spots to choose from. The ones we tried were all great!

Lovely clean beach. So relaxing here! I’d never been on a black sandy beach before but read reviews about how hot the sand got so hot, we bought little snorkelling shoes with us & just wore them, so no problems! If you go to the...More

Great beach. Lots of spots to swim. Love the black sand. Bars close by for drinks (not cheap tho) went to this beach often for a dip. Highly recommend

The location of the hotel is perfect for accessing all areas in Perissa. It's just 5 min walks to Perissa beach. Bus stop is near also. It’s easy walk excursions. Room is ok, but I don't satisfied with clean service. Should to say Thanks to...More

Nice beach... not much there though, town is not as near as nice as Kamari just around the corner. Over crowded...and loud....

We stayed in Perissa for a week and had a lovely, relaxing holiday. There are plenty of sunbeds on the beach owned by the restaurants - they are happy for you to stay all day but there is a minimum spend (differs depending on which...More

We didn’t rent a car because the bus is so easy to use. We went from Perissa Beach, to Fira and then to Oía, all with the bus and it was like 2-3 euros each way. Very easy and didn’t have to bother with driving

The boat trips are leaving from the port. Ususlly will have a transfer from your hotel or from a pick-up point, arranged by the travel office who sold you the boat trip.

I don’t think it’s walkable. Take a bus to a junction, there’s a walk to the lighthouse.
