Stopped for a drink after driving around the Island and ended up having saganaki for a snack and going for a swim. Black sand and water was great. Lots of little restaurants dot the long beach, good views and worth it. This time of year you pretty much have the place to yourselves.

It was October so thre were only a few people however the weather was great. The sand and the water of the sea were beautiful. I could relax to sit in the chair which was free during this season. Some shops and restaurants were open. I bought many postcards there.

We took a taxi down to the beach. It was quite as September. The beach chairs and brollies was free if you bought drinks from the taverna over the street. See was cold. It's probably better in high season. Apart from that ok

A beautiful unique black beach surrounded by beautiful mountains... who could ask for more? However, there are shops all along the road behind the beach as well as local restaurants...each one better than the next.

My hotel was within walking distance to the beach. Once I got there, there was lounge chairs and umbrellas set up. I noticed a beach bar on the corner, I believe the name was JoJo's. All you had to do was order one item from the bar, and you had beach access with umbrella and chair for the day. I... More

Had many a lovely day on this beach, we bought lunch from the cafe which had sectioned some of the beach off, our waiter bought us drinks all day, and the sunbeds were free if you purchased from the cafe.

The black sand beach of Perissa is a great place to spend the afternoon. The many food and beverage businesses along the beach have set out lounges and umbrealla for your use provided you order a drink. We enjoyed pizza and beer for a reasonable price. You can take a nice walk along the beach. Swimming is great.

We stayed in Perissa for 14 days (our entire vacation) and we were thrilled about the beach. If you want a nice experience on the beach this is the best place for you. We went to red beach and to Kamari's beach as well, but those places left us cold and unsatisfied. There are sunbeds and umbrellas along the entire... More

This was a lunch stop on the Santorini day tour. I can't quite say I've been on a black sand beach before quite the contrast to the white sand beaches of the Caribbean that I'm used to. I loved the difference. Very nice beach area with the rocky hills ending in the sea. We laid out for about an hour... More
