An absolute joke I gave this company 24hrs to reply to an email that I sent them but didn't get any reply
On 21st June 22 we got on the train at 11am and got off at the marina. We were told by the conductor that the train back would go back at 230pm and we could flag it down at Dimitris taverna. We started to wait at 130pm and wS there for 90mins and there wS no sign of any train
Don't bother with this train ride unless you fancy a walk of about 2hoirs in blistering heat

The train never showed up. We waited for more than half an hour, until half past 5, then we called the office phone number. The man said there was a shortage of drivers, so the train didn't run. Next day we tried again, the 'timetable' told us that the trains run until 15.00, so we thought the last train from Perissa would leave at 14.00. We waited near Perivollos, thats almost half way the route. After 20 minutes we called the office again, the train would be there in 5 minutes! The man couldn't tell us which way the train would go, but we decided to catch any train we could. But we saw no train the whole afternoon, we took lunch but saw no train at all... We called the office but nobody answered...

After waiting for a couple of days with no sign of the fun train we eventually caught it at 10am and travelled down the beach road from Perissa towards Vlychada a fishing port that looks welcoming in travel guide photos. I was disappointed to find the area run down and some of the tavernas and restaurants left in ruin. The beach side of the port had a nice coffee bar but the sunbeds were expensive while the port side had a small gift/tourist shop next to an even smaller bar. So the highlight of the journey had to be the 20 minutes of endless sunbeds and restaurants along the black sandy beach road. Worth the €8 but not a cent more.

A fun way to see the area of Perissa to Vlihada along the coastal road.
Easy and convenient way to reach the Tomato Museum in Vlihada. There is an entrance fee for the Museum.
Price includes return trip.

Great little road train ride from Perissa - €8 for return ticket valid for 4 hours. The Industrial Tomato Museum at the other end is worth a visit (€10 with tour) but other than a small beach, 2/3 bars/restaurants thrtes not much else to do. Enough for us though and nice views en route

Not worth the money for the cost of it. You are better off getting the bus instead. The train broke down and they arranged a mini bus to take us back, which did not have enough seats. Children had to sit on their parents laps, which is not safe at all. Not sure how all the people left at other stops got back, as it didn’t look like they arranged transportation for them. Luckily it broke down at my pick up point and I could get back.

A great way to see the locality. The easiest way to go from Perissa to the amazing Tomato Museum at the end of the line. Lots of stops on the way. Great for kids and grown up kids and the tickets allow time for lunch. What's not to like? Go on - be a big kid and just enjoy it.

Lovely little land train ride from Perissa to Vlychada. I’d recommend getting the first train at 10am as this gives you maximum time (tickets only last 4 hours). The morning train goes on the beach road too. If you go on the later one you go up the main road which isn’t as scenic!

Tickets are only sold return for €8. There is no way they will let you have a 1 way & the ticket is valid for 4hrs only. Make sure to ask where the pick up point is from Vlychada beach because they dropped me at the beachfront but left me behind picking up from the top of the hill. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long for the infrequent Vlychada to Perissa bus as I needed to get back & didn't want the hassle of arguing I wasn't told where the pick up point was & asked to pay again. The ride itself was great & it takes 30mins rather than going to Fira & back out.
