This is so random, a road train which runs along the coast from from Perissa and back. You pay €8 and you can get on and off as many times as you like - IE at the tomato museum. If you want to find / catch it in Perissa, wait at the corner by the bell tower, and get on when it turns up,which is about every hour (theres only one and it does a loop).

It's nothing special really, except it is because it plays a medley of 80s disco songs as you pootle along, and there's always some saga or other with tickets.

We loved every second of it - it's completely not cultural in any way at all, but is all the better for that. It was a cracking hour of watching the sea go by, while singing along to aha, marillion, yazoo and many more.

Proper good fun.

Price 8€ for adults 5€ for children for an all day hop on hop off ticket
Cards accepted but cash is preferred due to a bad internet coverage.
The train leaves by the hour from Perissa and a round trip takes around one hour. Bringing you to the end station at every half hour.
To board the train just raise your arm out and make eye contact with the driver. To get of press the stop button.

Be aware that the train takes a small break after the 1400 hours tour and begins again at 1700.

Pleasant way to spend an hour. Takes you along to the harbour at the far end of the walkway from perissa. Stops close by the tomato museum and there are a few tavernas there to stop off at. €8.00, put your hand out to stop and get on.
There's no commentary but there is music on a loop. Unsure about the running times

The train never showed up. We waited for more than half an hour, until half past 5, then we called the office phone number. The man said there was a shortage of drivers, so the train didn't run. Next day we tried again, the 'timetable' told us that the trains run until 15.00, so we thought the last train from Perissa would leave at 14.00. We waited near Perivollos, thats almost half way the route. After 20 minutes we called the office again, the train would be there in 5 minutes! The man couldn't tell us which way the train would go, but we decided to catch any train we could. But we saw no train the whole afternoon, we took lunch but saw no train at all... We called the office but nobody answered...

An absolute joke I gave this company 24hrs to reply to an email that I sent them but didn't get any reply
On 21st June 22 we got on the train at 11am and got off at the marina. We were told by the conductor that the train back would go back at 230pm and we could flag it down at Dimitris taverna. We started to wait at 130pm and wS there for 90mins and there wS no sign of any train
Don't bother with this train ride unless you fancy a walk of about 2hoirs in blistering heat

Absolutely fabulous little trip from Perissa to Vlachada marina. Driver was friendly and helpful. Lovely little trip too around 30 minutes each way. Little restaurant and shop in the marina. Great chance to see the catamarans at the marina if you were thinking of booking a sunset trip.

We absolutely loved this little tourist train!
We saw some lively scenery along the way and had lunch in the seafood restaurant at the end of the journey. You can hop on and off along the route.
I recommend this train tour.

It was a beautiful experience. We were there for 10 days. Very warm. We were able to do everything with public transport. Buses go to Fyra from all over the island. And from there you can take the bus to where you want to go. The costs are minimal. The little train is also worth it. A kind of hop on hop off. €8 for 4 hours of driving around. Food is also affordable. Only Oia and Fyra are a lot more expensive. It's nice. We have also seen it there.

The Fun Train really is a train of Fun! An excellent way to get from Perissa to the Industrial Tomato Museum (also worth a visit). The driver really entered in to the spirit of our impromptu singalong and the people watching along the beach showed how friendly everyone is

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
