We looked at other options for this trip and Volcano Boat stood out.
The boat trip is in total 5 hours but that is plenty to see the most beautiful formations on the west side of Milos.
Due its power and speed, you arrive long before the other more crowded boats. The smaller boat's size enabled better access for example, the first cave, which was just big enough for the boat to fit through the opening. Other yachts arrived but had to anchor outside.
We were constantly fed local food, with beer and soft drinks available at the last stop.
Unfortunately, as per the local weather, the winds picked up towards the end of the trip and the crew decided to improvise. The last stop was changed but that didn't matter as it was beautiful anyway. The staff were professional and safety conscious at all times as well as informative and friendly. The snorkelling was guided at all times by staff, so good for those who had never been.
We went to Milos purely to see Kleftiko Caves On Volcano Boat tours and were so happy we did this. They didnt disappoint as we cherish the memories on possibly the best day trip of our holiday. It may cost a little more than other tours but it is well worth it.
If we ever return to Milos, we'll be going back, but maybe the other tours they have to other parts of the island.
Five stars and thanks to Jo and the staff!
