Great views of nearby island. Usually calm seas. Gradual sloping in sea. Busy. Clean. Lots of family visitors. Restaurants and bars all the way along. Some water sports.

The sand and bottom at this beach is horrible. Big rocks are in the way when you are walking out to the water. You need bathing-shoes. And also, the waves were kind of big, so it's no good for children. But the sunbeads and service...More

Fantastic for swimming, sun bathing and jogging. The best hotel on the island of Crete is MINOA PALACE!

The beach is clean, a lot of sunbeds to choose from, restaurants close by. Flags show you if it is safe to enter the waters and it's wonderful to let the waves lift you up and down.

Only spent one day on this beach as we were staying in Agia Marina, but couldn't find fault. Sandy, plenty of sunbeds, many free if using the individual bar/restaurant, but we found that the most comfortable cost 6 euros a set. Helped that it was...More

Hi, the weather is still very good in October. You can swim confortably and actually during the fall it is a great time to visit Crete.

Yes, there are at least two water sports centers nearby, one to the direction of the east and another to the direction of west. I think that April is a great time to go to Crete!
