Stops at small beaches, towns and campsites so can visit lots of places and can do lovely walks up the coast and get the train back. About every two hours so you need to know the timetable and very crowded but we didn't mind that...More

We stayed in Calvi for two weeks and bought the 50 euro weekly ticket for using the railways in Corsica. With this we went by train from Calvi to Ajaccio, where we spent a night. The next day we took the train back as far...More

The train from Calvi to L'ile Rousse is quite dated but that does add to the nostalgia, lovely views along the coast and plenty to do in both Calvi & L'ile Rousse. L'ile Rousse is a lovely town with a busy market, plenty of good...More

It gets you across the coast but get a seat early as it gets absolutely rammed with people and it's stuffy and bumpy.

‪A quirky way to spend time on an old fashioned railway line.‬ ‪It is best to travel off season when the train is not too crowded.‬ ‪However, the views are fun as the train rambles along the coast from Ile Rousse to Calvi.‬

Rode from Bastia and Ajaccio. Loved the scenic route - coast, inland mountains, etc. — very cool. The train itself is quite charming.

Old trains, cramped space, many people have to stand all 45 minutes with no aircon and loaded with beach bags....Rent a car!
