Nice walk along the Danube. Children playground, free parking on the street across. About 1500 m to see left / right from the bridge.

Along the Danube bike path, great views of the river, the trees, the fountains and the statues. Lots of people enjoying the path, walking or biking.

It was a beautiful walk along the Danube from the city center to the gardens. You could see Marcus Aurelius statue, fountain, Nibelungen statue, Egon Schiele statue and museum. There was a summer stage for cultural events. Although there were a lot of people and cyclists, it was quiet place.

Make sure to take the time in Tulln to look at the Nibelungenlied statue, go to the Roemermuseum/Museum of the Romans and also the Egon Schiele Haus.

Walking along the Donaulande is naturally and architeclurally beautiful, and very relaxing. In summer der Donaubühne, a barge anchored along the shore, serves as a medium scale live music venue for Austrian and international performers. We saw Calexico there a couple of years ago, and it was amazing to watch the band perform as boats cruised up and down the Danube behind the barge. Unique.

Tulln is a beautiful place!
This pretty fountain is set on the south bank of the Danube River in Tulln depicts one of the stories from the Song of the Nibelungs - a marriage proposal of the king Attila the Hun and the princess Kremhild (Gudrun). The statues look amazing!
Highly recommended to visit during warmer months, there's plenty of florals and faunas and walking to do if you are keen.
