About
Zitat Frederick H. royce:"Quality remains, if the price is long forgotten." True to this motto, we work in our small but fine Rolls-Royce Museum in Dornbirn Gütle. Our new concept, the personal care of each guest, with closer contact to the exhibits as well as photo ticket included in the entrance fee, we speak a "new language". This is our business card, which is very well main tended by our team on site. Since 2019 we have been a contract partner with the Vorarlberger Familienpass, as well as the V Card, the Bodensee Erlebnis Card and the Bodensee Vorarlberg Card. Of course, there are also many other benefits. In our partner company FFA Museum Altenrhein you will find over 3 floors an exciting exhibition about the vehicle and aircraft industry. We are happy to take you on an exciting and fascinating "journey through time" of the Rolls-Royce car history. Your museum Team.

If you are a car buff, this is a must-see. Featuring old, vintage cars from the 1920's, it gives you a view of these machines, spare parts, etc. from a private collector. It includes cars ridden by Queen Elizabeth/Prince Charles. If you like old stuff, chek this place out..

Nice collection on 3 levels. At least 100 cars, most of them from the 1920-1950 decades. Most of the cars are nicely renovated, but some of them are under renovation. My only concern is: they want to show too many too similar cars, and at the end of the visit it's impossible to recall what beauties you really met with.

Certainly has plenty of cars to look at and enjoy. This collection is extensive but we were disappointed as most of the cars were the in the same 5 -8 years. It would have be nice to see old to new. They do more bragging about who owed each car instead of the car itself.

Overall the museum is good. 9€ per person, and this lady offered us another 10€ for picture and also the booklet for 4€ and she said she had it in English, when we paid, she gave us the Germans booklet with other paper for english which is not include everything. We said we didnt want it and want our 4€ back. She was mad about it, cursing in Germans and threw our 4€ in front of us. What a nice lady!!! So cheeky and so rude!

If it wasnt because of her, i'd give this museum a 4 stars!!

This museum is owned by one person. I was shocked the moment I entered the museum when I saw how the cars were displayed. So many great cars placed adjacent to each other as if they are in a car parking. The ground floor is for the Rolls Royce cars used by normal people, the second floor for those used by famous people such as the mother queen. The third floor was a cafe and some furniture used by the British royal family !! No such useful information was given for each car; just the year of manufacturing and the designer. Only few cars have a very brief information. It will be great if more information is given about the user of the car. Some short documentary movies might also be a good idea for those cars used by famous people but unfortunately non is given. You can have a personal guide who will give some explanation about each car but this costs 150 Euro which is ridiculous !! You can buy some souvenirs though. This needs some improvements as the great cars can't be appreciated with this bad display. 10 Euro should also be paid for using your camera !!!! With no personal guide, the visit will last for no more than one hour.

Don't go to the small building but go to the big building on the left. It costs about the same and you get to see 50 cars instead of 5.

One star because it is about the super small RR museum with only 6 cars (address Gutle 10) with the addition of 'the worlds finest'.
The large museum, which deserves 5 stars, with many historic Rolls Royces stands next to address Gütle 11a in Dornbirn and is a 3-storey building. This museum does not stand out because it does not have a big sign. Info can be found at:
rolls-royce-automobilmuseum
You can look around yourself and can film and photograph everything.
The cars are indeed a bit close together and time has stood still around 1928.

There are many cars in this collection; with that I'm done with the praise.
The museum is disorganised, there are no labels or explanations, no history, nothing that makes a living museum.

You cannot even approach most of the exponates. You need to pay much more for the right to take photos.

Boring and colourless.

If you are looking for a lot of vintage Rolls Royces all of them together in a single facility, a 3 stories building, here is the place.

Having said this, if you are not a car enthusiast, or if you are looking for more information about models, engines, this is not the place. In my opinion doesnt deserve a special trip unless you are looking specifically for this. The place is managed by a family, and thats good, but I found it kind of short of lacking more amenities, a restaurant or something else.
