Located on private land - you have pay $5 per person, which I think is a little steep - but the hike and the swim in the pond below the falls was magnificent.

This fall and the lovely pool below it are perfect for chilling after hike up La India Dormida. Some will skip the hike and just do the falls, but for the adventuresome, the falls are even better after the long hike.

I just checked my pictures and the sign doesn't indicate hours-just the $5 price. A family of indigenous folks live up at the beginning of the trail proper so I would think that you could give them money anytime. The wife... More
