The beach seems to go forever and blends in with the next beach. Beautiful waves for the surfers. We aren't surfers but we enjoy being here anyway as we love being in the ocean when the waves are high. Beautiful white sand. Can be busy beach at times but so are all the others.

This fairly large restaurant offers what most people want as far as food in a beach eatery. But the best part is it's location for a sunset experience without paying a fortune. We both really enjoyed the cerviche. There is a happy hour from 5 to 6 which is prime time sunset watching anytime of the year.

but a bit messy and at times can get too crowded. Best times to go are not in peak season and early am or late afternoon between 4 and 6 pm before the sun goes down

It's a surfer beach but even if you aren't a surfer you can love this beach silky white sand , you can walk out a 100 meters and stand and be blown over by the waves too much fun Enjoy well worth it

I spend every day of my trip at playa carmen. The beach was lovely, minus some debris and you could easily walk to the tidal pools for a little relaxation as well as up to the stores for a drink or bite to eat. Sunsets were stunning!

A lot of white water which is perfect for beginner surfers like me! I went in september and we were probably only 3-4 people surfing at this beach which made it a perfect beach to learn to surf!

Nice and clean, only a few old threes brought by the warm ocean! You only hear the sound of the waves and see only a few surfists going along the beach looking for good waves.

I have a lot of fun surfing in this beach. It's also a good place for beginners. Many nice hotels around.
