We recently returned from a fantastic time in Costa Rica, and Costa Rica Best Trips is one of the main reasons it was so great. We used this fabulous company three different times.
We booked an airport transfer from Liberia to our Air BnB in Tamarindo. Our airplane was late unloading and we had a long immigration line and were 2 hours later than planned and Ariel was right where he said he would pick us up. He handed us waters and/or beer (after that delay, it was the best beer ever!) and loaded us up and off we went to Tamarindo. He stopped to show us a cashew tree and let us taste the fruit (I had NO idea that is how cashews grow!) and stopped to show us some howler monkeys he spotted in the trees! We asked a ton of questions and began learning much more about Costa Rica.
A few days later, Manuel picked us up at our condo and took us for an all day adventure tour at Hacienda de Guachapelin. It was actually a better deal for us to book this adventure through Ariel, and they provided transportation and a guide for the whole day. Manuel was AMAZING! He picked us up at our condo, drove us the 2 hours to the location, stayed with us all day, and then drove us back! He was like a chauffeur, guide, and personal assistant all in one. He took us to each of the events and stored our stuff in his car, handed us cold water, took our stuff and held on to it for us, and took photos of us doing all the things (ziplines, mud baths, hot springs, suspension bridges, horseback riding, river tubing, amazing huge lunch)....It was a long day, and he was so cheerful and helpful the entire time! He answered all our questions and was so patient. He taught us a lot about Costa Rica and offered to stop additional places if we so wished. It made the day so easy and carefree and enjoyable.
Then, Ariel was our ride back to the airport at the end of our wonderful trip. He was punctual and helpful! We had a nice discussion while he delivered us back to the airport. It was a very easy drive, no stress at all! He told us what time to leave and what time we needed to arrive at the airport and it all worked out very smoothly.
We heard about this company from some friends who had used them, and I am so glad. You can count on them to be where they say they will be, to be on time, to do everything you expect and to make it fun all the same! Definitely recommend this company.....Pura Vida!
